Chibesakunda sworn in as Judge President of COMESA Court

The 18th Common Market for East and Southern Africa (COMESA) summit has sworn in the elected Judge president and Judges of the COMESA Court of Justice at the African Union Commission(AUC).

Zambia’s former acting Chief Justice, Lombe Chibesakunda was sworn in as president of the Appellate Division of the COMESA Court of Justice.

Justice Chibesakunda said getting a job at the COMESA Court of Justice was an honour not only for her but also for Zambia her country.

She further stated that she was fully prepared to serve the court to the best of her abilities and with impartiality.

Other judges sworn in were from Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Malawi, Sudan and Egypt.

The swearing in ceremony was witnessed by Justice Minister Ngosa Simbyakula, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Rayford Mbulu, Zambia’s Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union Susan Sikaneta and other senior government officials.

Also sworn in as a member of the COMESA Committee of Elders was Lunte Member of Parliament Felix Mutati.

Are you not ashamed that while you useless Zambians are busy insulting her, the international community respect her. You Zambians are good for nothing. Too much yaaping. ataseeee.
