MOVEMENT for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) national youth coordinator Bowman Lusambo has described Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) leader Edith Nawakwi’s attacks on President Edgar Lungu as distasteful and malicious.
“As MMD youths, we have been compelled to respond to continued attacks on President Edgar Lungu by FDD leader Edith Nawakwi. We find Madam Nawakwi’s attacks distasteful and malicious because they are devoid of any facts and merely based on personal hatred and jealousy,” Mr Lusambo said.
He continued, “It appears Madam Nawakwi is basking in the front page headiness offered to her by the Post Newspapers without knowing that she is being used by the newspaper to drive its Edgar Lungu hatred campaign.”
Mr Lusambo added that Ms Nawakwi should be the last person to criticise President Lungu’s governance style because she lacks none of that.
“Zambians have never forgotten how Madam Nawakwi working with her cohorts denied starving Zambians their right to food when she irregularly handled the Carlington Maize scheme,” he said.
“The Carlington Maize saga is a reminder of Madam Nawakwi’s ineptitude and lack of fitness to hold public office. It therefore follows that Madam Nawakwi should not preach to anyone least President Lungu.”
Mr Lusambo added that Ms Nawakwi has no moral authority to preach good governance because her entire political life is littered with scandals.
He advised Ms Nawakwi to be relevant to the political process in this country by offering constructive criticism rather than engaging in cheap political attacks.
“If there is anyone driving Zambia into a ditch, it is the likes of Madam Nawakwi who are hell bent on attacking President Lungu day in and day out. It will not pay for Madam Nawakwi and her accomplices to keep lowering the integrity of the presidency,” he concluded.

But how does the relationship between Nawakwi and Lungu affect MMD? Nawakwi is not jealous of Nevers Mumba, your president. WTF makes you think you have the right to complain on behalf of the PF or indeed one Edgar Lungu, Mr. Lusambo??? How your party has been sent to the dustbin of politics!
This Boiled Man Lusambo has since Jan.20th become a spokes person for the PF. So doesn’t he just join them? He has stopped talking about MMD and is always “PF this and PF that.”

Nawakwi is using Chimbuya with Edgar wrongly. Nawakwi is married to a Tonga so her Mbuyas are now Lozis. How she wishes Edgar can listen to her! Nawakwi will never be president for Zambia because of her many scandals starting with how she got her present husband. Zambians don’t entertain such and they never forget especially when they are in the ballot box to vote. The closest Nawakwi can be to power again is a ministerial position. They sooner she gets that in her greasy head the better it will be for her and every one else.

ECL is already President of this country. He doesn’t need cheerleaders, he needs checks & balances.
I can only agree on using the disgraced toilet paper POST. Otherwise its not wise to sing praises to the President because this may just make him relax. But the Post is a wrong forum because they will add even things Nawakwi didn’t say just prop up their hatred campaign. Remember that they also destroyed Sylvia Masebo by spicing her stories with poisonous venom. Otherwise keep the President on his toes all the time.
Nawakwi is being used by Mmembe in return for coverage in the Post. Mmembe hates Lungu and Chikwanda with passion and he is using Nawakwi as a political leader to fight his fight.

Imwe banthu can someone tell me if MMD is still there as a party? Lusambo is MMD Youth Chairman? Why is he speaking on behalf of PF? One of the articles on this web site also quotes Mr. Nevers Mumba giving accolades to PF and Edgar Lungu. Does he still have a party, this Nevers Mumba? Just the other day, it was Nakachinda, the MMD Communications Director (Party Spokesman) blasting Milupi on behalf of PF. Why cant these clowns in MMD just announce to the world that they are part of PF? That is the only honorable way instead of pretending that they still have a party. Kaingu is clearly PF and it will be a shock if he stood on the MMD ticket come 2016. Simbao is already gone to PF. Who has remained? Mr. Nevers Mumba please hold the bull by the horns and declare the death of MMD.
