    • If I’m honest HH has never really caught my eye to the point of changing my sceptical view of him. But this picture of him cooking nshima in the most primitive of settings of Bauleni may just do it for me.Planned or not that’s a campaign coup de’tat. Like it.

    • WAY to go and please in elected president don’t change do as now. its the only way you will know the truth otherwise Ministers will lie to you.

Damn can only see poverty in the eyes of those people? Zambia is messed up.. We need real change than just talk.

PF / MMD Should be kicked out.

    • Kekekeke HH ashupa bamwisho…. is not even scared of those kaponyas at bar in pic#5?
And he knows how to cook nshima, some rich people are really down-to-earth. Edgar is a lawyer, he can’t do such “dirty” duties.

    • Some of you dream way too much. President Nawakwi is incoming after President Lungu’s three terms.

      Viva President Nawakwi.

    • Mr. Hakainde Hichilema and Mahtani after 50 years of independence, Zambia is in its present state of despair because of educated criminals like you. KK and our elderly independence heroes sent you to school, provided free mealie meal, free books, free cloths, free jobs and what did you do in return? Stole the little that our forefathers had built since independence. You and people like you, the so-called educated thieves sold all parastatals to foreigners for a song, just because You agreed to be used by Chiluba, Valentine Chitalu and Anderson Mazoka. You undervalued and wrote nice stories about foreigners in exchange for free shares, sitting allowances, contracts and directors fees in companies before and after disposals. You brag that you two are the richest

    • Wat I would like to see is if HH can take one or two individuals from these places he touring, mentor and give them a chance to succeed like he has.

  1. You are our next hope to go to the state house, please don’t disappoint us. We had a lot of hope in PF but only seeing negatives. Viva HH next year

    • Zambians, especially Lusakans, CBs and Notherners!!! Very tricky!!! They come close to you with smiles and sweet talk but on voting day they remember that HH is a Tonga, kacema etc and vote for someone else. Anyway, who is a Tonga and a kacema? A Tonga is a member of one of Zambia’s oldest tribes and a kacema makes sure that livestock (cattle, sheep, goats) are well-fed and secure. Jesus Christ is kacema for mankind and that is why the bible teaches us to love Him. A kacema is, therefore, honourable. Anyway, HH, go thank them and mingle with them and when they reject you again in 2016, you will have done your part, go back to your businesses and family and people. You are still loved, my brother. Target your energies and resources towards community projects and leave a good legacy.

  2. We seem to have a graduate from Micheal Chilufya Sata School of Political Thought! Believe you me, interacting with the down trodden and vulnerable persons in society is the greatest weapon that made Sata above all other politicians! I hope the new graduate will use the formular wisely to his advantage! Good luck!

  3. In all my forty six years of life, I have never seen such level of desperation not even Sata sunk so law with desperation!!! For me this is a complete turn off!!! HH’s advisors please tell him to stop this kind of nonsense its not going to win him any votes!!!!

    • Don’t agree with you, it’s probably doing the opposite for most voters. It shows he’s very much “one of us”, which goes well in politics.

    • the man is interacting with the locals, you what him to be posing at manda hill ? or to be driving around in his benz ? common get real

    • Mthangatambeta,
The majority poor you don’t want to see and understand there suffering are the majority voters. I thought you would have taken note of how these people are suffering than concentrating on HH. Open your eyes bwana!!!! HH has done a commendable job for you to understand where you did not know.

Stop talking about HH. Tell us how you are going to strenghen the Poor Kwacha, poverty reduction, job creation, education and health.

    • If truly you are 46 and at that age you still cannot understand how politics works then that is a wasted 46 years dude. I think try commentating on harmless subjects like farming where extreme naivete will not be judged.

  4. Wait for 2016 results and you’ll be shocked by the results from the same compounds which tribal HH is visiting today!!!WHY DO HH LOSES ELECTIONS?ITS SIMPLY BCOZ HE IS SEEM TO BE RUDE,CALLS HIMSELF MOST LEARNED ZAMBIAN THEN ABOVE ALL MAJORITY VOTERS BELIEVE THE FACT THAT HE IS TOO TRIBAL,MEANING IF HE WINS(GOD FORBID) ONLY TONGAS WILL BE ENJOYING!!TRIBALISM IS WHAT KILLS HH.80% OF NONE TONGAS WILL NEVER VOTE FOR HIM!!!SO HE WILL 100% LOSE IN 2016!!

  5. @Mthangatambeta. Why are you turned off when HH is doing what ordinary Zambians are doing in their day to day life? Are you turned off when you see these people doing what they are doing? You should admire HH for being humble and interacting with every Zambian not based on gender, wealth, education, tribe etc.

    • Have you forgotten that HH told us he grew up in a village herding cattle like many of us from cattle rearing provinces (Southern, North Western, Eastern and parts of Central)? We are proud of that background. Ordinary people still rear cattle that way. We had our own joys why herding our cattle. And some of us former cattle herders are not occupying various leadership positions, diplomats and professors. We still buy cattle and rear them for meat, milk, plowing, cash and many exchanges. Cattle is as valuable as money itself.

    • meant, “And some of us former cattle herders are NOW occupying various leadership positions, diplomats and professors”.

Please respect our childhood occupations and culture. You did not herd cattle because you did not have them. That does not mean anything other than that we just grew up in different environments?

    • And who says the late President Sata was a model politician whom every upcoming politician should emulate? It is a matter of choice.

HH cooking nshima reminds one of childhood days at home and as a weekly boarder, carpentry reminds one of carpentry classes at secondary school while embracing old women reminds one of old female relatives (mothers, aunties, grannies etc). HH is doing what anyone of us who love ordinary people do when we visit them. What is there to condemn there?

  6. As a rule of the thumb, those who desparately aspire to be leaders are disqualified. only the humble ones, those who are called from no where qualify to be leaders.

  7. HH in a hurry copy cat satas gimmicks of capturing attention. Not long ago you were talking down on ba kaponyas and bana maliketi Ati PF is a party of illiterates and today you’ve realised that the poor are the ones who choose leaders for the rich. Try something different those political gimmicks are outdated .

    • Now, you are demonstrating the illiteracy he was alluding to. You are a microcosm of PF leadership.

  8. Walking through a Nshanti compound with bringing business to a standstill just shows how unpopular this man is. Can you imagine the late Micheal Sata in Bauleni or Kanyama or even as it is KK?? Its a potential stamped. It can even be a security risk because of the crowds they will attract.

  9. If the same monkey changes from one forest to the other, will this make it any different? Just asking.

  10. KCI,HH does not need the kind of politics played by late chilufya, all HH need now is to maintain the momentum and add just a little bit and he will be in plot 1,so far so good. All you pf chaps are shaken because you it is just a matter of months you will be out of power.

  11. UPND’s desperation with the lack of talent is pitiful.

Only the UPND faithful can’t see the man’s a liability. He’s reduced their number of MP’s from Mazoka’s (MHSRIP) time. He is pathetic, weak with zero charm or leadership qualities.

  12. Going by last presidential election HH’s party (UPND) won in 63 out of 150 constituencies and yet you are talking of reducing the number from 47 mps, cant get your reasoning, stop leaving in the past the man of the moment is HH and come 2016 in about 14 months time pf kuyabebele with your chagwa.

    • So naïve to believe this isn’t UPND’s most shameful political episode ever – total sham and farce. He has single handedly destroyed UPND’s reputation.

Were we electing MPs as well in the last Presidential election? Must have missed that one!

  13. Those blogging hatrade against HH are not bona fide zambians but congolese running away from their country they speak fluent bemba and write very poor English. They have never experienced peace since Congo’s independence. They have changed their names to zambian names like mwape, bwalya, phiri, banda etc! All of them easily get NRCs. They own businesses, they occupy most if not all stalls in markets in Lusaka, Kabwe, CB towns. They are very violent by nature always attacking and murdering UPND members. Viva HH!

  14. HH may do what he is doing now but once brought into state house, he will no longer be near those he is wooing votes from. Just look at his cosmetic smile. All these politicians are the same. weren’t we given a constitution road map prior to the 2015 presidential bye – elections? what has happened to it? peharps, better the devil you know than the Angel you don’t

  15. At the very least HH is bringing attention to the fact that many people in our country are living a life of abject poverty due to failure of government to manage our economy. Look at the appalling condition of squalor evident in these pictures. As Zambians we should be questioning the government of the day on what they are doing to alleviate this poverty and not condemning the person bringing attention to it. We don’t expect Lungu to eliminate poverty but he needs to let us know what he is doing to help. My guess is that he is doing nothing except making himself and his friends rich by tolerating corruption. BANTU BALE CHUULA! ALL PF CAN SAY IS
    “BLAME IT ON THE RAIN!”

  16. HEAD HACHEMA (HH) Is not a good Man ask people he worked with at Coopers or his neighbours at adis ababa round bout Flats. This Man is Evil and have no heart for people. Give him the throne you will regret.

  17. We are already regretting now! Nothing can be worse than what we have. Only hell is worse than the suffering that some in our population are going through. We have hit rock bottom. ITS TIME FOR CHANGE

  18. Zambians are aware with what the country is going through economically and politically. Current leadership in PF does not inspire Zambians. Corruption and theft has become endemic, ACC is non existent, PF ministers involved in corruption are let free, some officials involved in corruption are shilded by president E Lungu making corruption fight useless. Its for these reasons that change of leadership is inevitable in Zambia. People such as HH have personal conviction of how our nation should be governed. HH has a sense of fairness for all Zambians through good governance, rule of law, prudent resource management and accountability for the benefit of all Zambians.

  19. No matter how much HH pretends and tries, he will never be the same as those residents, and they know it. Overdone by the act of cooking nshima…..he did not have to go to those lengths mwebantu, for example does he cook nshima at his home? A more genuine act of interaction perhaps should have been for HH to bring his servants to cook the nshima for the residents, what do you think?

I tell you this is funny, but if only comedy could win votes please!

  20. I feel very sad when I read most of the comments against HH above. The pictures, on the other hand, tell a different story of people with real problems.

  21. We have seen the pictures. We know that…….he is just thinking above the vision that he would not carry. He is thinking where to start from before 2016 .
Kindly be advised that go to rural areas where they do not know you exactly.Try Kashina Ngo’mbe,Washishi,Liangati,Kalili,Puta, chiengi, mununga, mugubudu, feni, muchinga, kapiri, ngabwe, mwachisompola, chililabombwe and generally in any villages.Apart from Southern Province he is known
