  1. Edgar Lungu looks drunk in that picture. If not, then he had one too many the previous night.

    • Please lets learn to respect our leaders. Leadership is from GOD and there can be only one leader at time.

    • Of course he had a terrible hangover, anyone can see from his puffed face, what happened to his RSA rehab schedule?

  2. What is the nation being released from? Who has been holding the nation or what negative forces are being talked about here? What this country needs is development which is fairly distributed and not being released from unseen forces.

  3. It’s a good gesture to honour these founding fathers.

That said, KK should ask his driver to take him to Bwinjifumu Road.

And start by telling Fred False Prophet Mmembe to stop the ” Axis of Evil ” that he has subjected the nation to, because of Sickening Satanic Ego. These two are comrades.

That itself would be a good starting point, to move forward as the nation.

KK.. Big man! Thanks for the prayers. Zambia needs such wisdom at this junction in time.

  4. its important for us to receive such blessings from the first head of state.good things come when elders bless you. That was a powerful prayer and should not be taken lightly. we really need God to help this country prosper. The issues we are facing are beyond human solutions

    • And so says a dumb savage who fell for the white man’s made up god.

You DO realize that believing in a big-daddy-in-the-sky that loves you but will punish you with eternal torment is truly insane?

  5. God Bless KK God Bless Zambia! Can’t help but compare the size of cabinet then and now. We are however surely a blessed nation

    • Illiteracy and Ignorance is what destroy’s Africa.

Man Made Religions are the cause of all the problems we face today in the world…why because religion today is full of nothing but stoopidity. The so-called leaders of the world use religion as a tool to control the masses and the sad thing is that, YOU the stoopid men and women of today continue to follow them like Mary’s little lambs

  6. We all indeed owe them a big thank you for us who never paid any school fees to highest level of education. God bless

  7. Jesus did not want you in his club. Unless you were a Jew, Jesus thought you were a filthy animal. Yes, even if you are Christian. It is all in the Bible.

    • Jesus encouaged his disciple to preach to the Gentles (you and me) and the jews alike. what are you talking about.

  8. KK had a clear vision for Zambia, not the current leadres.Politics of the stomach. Thanks KK ,am where am today because of your policies.Thank you for shaking my hand at graduation.

    • KK was humiliated and insulted by most of us including myself when I was at the University but we later realised that since he left, no president has achieved what KK achieved. We thank God for KK and this prayer. I believe the prayer has edified both Zambians and KK himself so that we forgive each other and be released from the curse. This is a timely prayer. KK may say bye to us any time so he has to forgive us. Thank you Mr President.

  9. For 27 years this man thought he was KKING of Zambia.

Now he thinks he is God that he can give divine judgements?

He should be in JAIL for all the people he killed!

    • Why dont you tell us which people he killed? Dont just accuse put the facts on the table.

    • Judge not who are you to judge him? are you God ?God forgives A sinful And repentant Heart.Atleast he has realesed us and generations to come it takes the Grace of God to do that.

  10. Iam 42 and I can recognise most of KK’s cabinet. In that picture I can see seven people who are mentally liberated. Yes they are trying to show their liberation through their dressing. Their dressing is making a statement. The statement is that I wont obey what the coloniser says are the rules of civilisation. They don’t wear neckties or  jackets, the mentally enslaving European clothing that the coloniser told us you have to wear to look civilised. The liberated ones are Grey Zulu, Simon Kapwepwe, Mainza Chona, Solomon Kalulu, Elijah Mudenda, the man standing behind Reuben Kamanga, and the one behind him. KK was to later realise that what he was wearing were slave clothes and he switched to African safari suits like Nyerere

    • Very true. Clothes do show just how mentally liberated one is. They also show how mentally enslaved a person is.

  11. Why is it that all Upnd sympathizers don’t support Christianity but they support HH who is a Christian. Am just thinking loud.

  12. Only God can bless the nation. All KK can do is ask God to bless Zambia. Please do not allow anyone to deputise God. The fact that KK saw God as his equal and let his disciples chant, ” Kumulu Lesa, Panshi Kaunda” was the cause of his ultimate downfall.

  13. What Dr Kaunda has done is noble. This is what every father does to his children before he dies. He speaks a blessing upon them. He pronounces a blessing upon his children and releases them from any curse. He prays for them and shields them from any negative forces. We recieve the blessing and what to thank Dr kaunda for being such a good father and may God bless him too. NOW Zambia is blessed. Now Zambia is free.

  14. The Fifth Biblical Commandment states, “honor your father and mother that you may live a long life and that all may go well with you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.” Those who have been groomed and reared in a stable and healthy home have wholeheartedly embraced Dr. Kaunda’s Blessing to the Nation. They understand that the words of an elder or a parent are a light in the path of life. Dr. Kaunda speaking, not as a politician but the Founding Father of the Nation, released Zambia from all forms of negative forces. There is deep wisdom in that. One of the wise sayings from East Africa goes, “what a young man can see only while standing, an elder is able to see while seated.”

  15. In blessing the current generation of Zambians and posterity, Dr. Kaunda was passing on something more precious to the people of Zambia than we realize. He was imparting upon us that which he is renowned for on the world platform. When you travel abroad and people realize that you are from Zambia, have you noticed that more often than not, they would look at you and go, “O so you are from Zambia, how is KK?” You must understand that it is not mere greeting or effort to start a conversation, but rather they are indirectly telling you, “we know that Kaunda who is the founding father of your nation epitomizes peace, love and unity on the world platform; and that since a child takes after its father, we believe you stand for the same attributes. There4 we deposit our trust in you.”
