Today’s Message: Give Thought to Your Ways

Share

bible

Today’s Scripture

“The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps.”
(Proverbs 14:15, NIV)

Today’s Word with Joel & Victoria

One of the characteristics of a prudent person is that they give thought to their ways. So many people today just act, or react, based on their emotions or circumstances. They let the world around them determine how they should feel or what they should do.

They believe everything they hear in the news. When the economy is up, they are up. When the economy is down, they are down. Don’t let that be you today! Give thought to your ways. Submit every decision to the Lord in prayer and allow Him to direct you from inside your heart. Don’t believe everything you hear.

Let the Lord guide your steps. As you take time to meditate before the Lord and submit your plans to Him, Proverbs says that your ways will be established. You will find supernatural peace that passes understanding, and you will live in success all the days of your life.

Give thought to your ways!

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for Your faithfulness to me. Thank You for guiding and directing my steps. Help me each day to give thought to my ways and follow the good plan You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

    • This is for Edgar Lungu, he has to think of his dubious acts. Zambians are not all styupid like Miles Sampa and Guy Scott’s team. 2016 is year of elections … “Edgar’s give thought to your ways”, and praise Guy Scott for his kindness.

    • I used to believe in “live and let live”. I now believe that religion needs to be exterminated worldwide.

  1. THE NIGHT RELIGION WAS INVENTED
During early Stone Age, on a stormy night, four cavemen were sitting at the entrance of a cave, watching the rain. Suddenly, a lightning bolt stroke some trees and a fire started.

The first cave man, the “curious”, asked: “What was that?”

The second caveman, the “scientific”, replied: “I don’t know, we need to investigate.”

The third caveman, the “coward”, quickly explained: “No, there is no need to investigate, I already know, it was caused by the wrath of an all-mighty being, a god!”

And the fourth caveman, the “smart”, saw the opportunity: “I need to tell you guys that this god is a close friend of mine; in fact, he talks to me all the time. By the way, he’s telling me right now that that bolt and fire were only to show you what he…

  2. I fear no god, I am free ,

Only the ignorant and the stoopid believe in and literature in any bible.. Unless virgins really do get pregnant? Snakes really talk and the dead really walk.. Bushes do catch fire! The world isn’t flat, the earth isn’t in the centre of the universe. 10 commandments and non of them mention keeping slaves or sex with minors, shalt not kill 6th??? Wtf
Billions of animals on a boat ?? No mention of the ice age, Stone Age, Bronze Age , or T-Rex?
It’s lack of understanding of emotion, love and inability to evolve with the times. It’s barbaric views on same sex love, it’s views on freedom of mind, it’s views on condoms.
People who read the bible like to forget about the age of Mary, they like to forget about the kidnap and rape of 1000s of women,…

  3. Religion is such an insult to the natural history, subtle complexities and mystery of being alive in this beautiful place…fúcking gullible, sociopaths, violent, manipulative, lazy-minded, shaved monkeys…

  4. ALL RELIGIONS DONT EXIST.. WHEN YOU EXCEPT THAT THEN MAYBE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO REALLY SEE THE TRUTH.. TIL THEN KEEP BELIEVING IN FAIRYTALES (RELIGIONS

  5. Of course ‘religion’ is man-made. A superstitious bunch of fears, a collection of wishful- thinking con men, a means to power over simple and fearful *****s. God is an extension of man’s ego, what else?

  6. SIMPLE LOGIC. A God has no NEED or WANT. Need and want is a human condition, not that of a God. There is no NEED for religion, or followers by a God. Therefore ALL organized religion is a farce. If God were to want or need anything, God would simply WILL it and it would be done, or would have been done without a need for man. God doesn’t WANT and NEED man, it is man that WANTS and NEEDS God to escape FEAR. So man created religion which is actually just that, FEAR. Because FEAR is control. Hence, FEAR is GOD. Islam just took it up a notch

  7. Religion is BIG, BIG business an makes big money for the preachers. An its all based on fear tactics…send all your money to the preacher or you are going to hell……show me one religion that the preacher or guru does not take big money ?????

  8. GOD (???) is a five-member Korean pop music group. The name is an acronym for Groove Over Dose.

  9. I used to go to church until I noticed all of the hypocrisy….also, there are so many religions, one says the other is wrong…and its all based on acute differences in dogma…100s of thousands if not millions of people have been killed in the name of religion…God did not create man in his own image….man personified God and created him in his own image. Religion was designed to control the masses…anyone can have a personal relationship with God, you dont need a church or a religion.

  10. Perfection’s Imperfect Revelation

The Bible is supposedly God’s perfect Word. It contains instructions to humankind for avoiding the eternal fires of hell. How wonderful and kind of this God to provide us with this means of overcoming the problems for which he is ultimately responsible! The all-powerful God could have, by a mere act of will, eliminated all of the problems we humans must endure, but instead, in his infinite wisdom, he has opted to offer this indecipherable amalgam of books which is the Bible as a means for avoiding the hell which he has prepared for us. The perfect God has decided to reveal his wishes in this imperfect work, written in the imperfect language of imperfect man, translated, copied, interpreted, voted on, and related by imperfect man.

  11. A very good message. A prudent person gives thought to their ways. A prudent person is a well informed and far sighted person, both in terms of time -past and present – and in terms of space – the observable Universe. And above all, acknowledges the Creator of all.

    • Why must we cram our beliefs down the throats of others. This all theoretical stuff no one can prove or disprove anything that is why it is called faith. Arguing with someone about their beliefs and how they are wrong for whatever reason just makes you a bully.

  12. You are christian because your parents are christians. Muslims because their parents are muslims. Same goes with all the religions of the world. Religions were made for man’s ignorance, made to explain what ancient men can not understand, made from fear of absolute death. Ancient men were afraid to die so they created a fantasy. Just ask yourself, would you be in the religion that you’re in had your parents not brought you up with its doctrine? We you born christian, muslim, buddhist or hindu? Throughout history religion has done nothing but caused wars and segregation. Until we have totally whipped out religions, humanity will never accept that we are one race, one species on this planet that we call home. President Regan once said “perhaps we need some outside universal threat to…

    • False prophets beaten in Botswana.

The two got a lesson in humanity from an angry mob after they got caught trying to swindle the pensioner.

  13. HEAR ME LORD,

HELP ME TO SEE AND CHANGE THINGS THAT I CAN AND

RECOGNIZE THOSE THAT I CAN NOT.

AND FINALLY GIVE ME THE WISDOM TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE.

    AMEN.

  14. Thank you my children for being so open minded. Yes, let us expose the white mans religion for what it is. Let us embrace ourselves more, our culture, spirituality, mores etc.
