  1. After this people like this don’t live long. Financial problems set in then Girls friends run away, Then the virus they have in them overcomes the ARV’s then in and out of hospital, then wife runs away them its “aribadachi” . See ya Later alligator

    • I Zambians is taking politics to a whole new level. When people differ and slap each other, they are being identified as cadres of this or that political party, (even when they act in personal capacities), instead of who they are as individuals.

    • I thought Charity Banda was assaulted at a UPND rally!!! Kanshi nipa Arcades! Why mention the “assailant” is UPND? Probably to make the case political so that police with go into active mode with a pre-determined outcome?

    • It is Edgar who regrouped all thugs at State House who protected him all along. Thank you the real President Inonge to sweep a bit in that dirty PF village when headman is away.

    • First we had Davies Chama firing guns in Mulobezi and now Kaizer in Lusaka. Both of these men work very closely with the president .They were appointed by the president. They are always in his company. What does that tell you about the judgement of the appointing authority? Never in our history have people so closely working with the presidency involved in gun shooting !

    • hmmm, this thug is only being arrested today? this is a dangerous cadre. I hope nobody will pull strings andhave him out before time. mwafwa ba kaizer. Your arrogance will get you nowhere!!! but unfortunately old geeks like you never learn!!!

    • Police, policee Why it took a week to arrest Zulu? A criminal should not come close to the president. How will he work with pres. Lungu?? ?

  2. This guy was sacked by bashi Chilufya from his previous job at State House. I still can’t believe why this thug was given a second chance by EL. A thug is a thug. I guess President Lungu overruled the OP vetting report. Nonetheless, I give EL credit this time for “allowing” police to lock him up.

    • He was sacked by the old man Sata but brought back by the lazy Bum Edgar who also overruled intelligence reports by bring him back…the selfsame bum is ordering ZP to investigate…ZP dont need permission from him to investigate ant citizen who has broken the law.
This is what happens when you tolerate myopic shambolic leadership…you start giving credit to bums who are misusing their powers.

    • It then opens up the lopsidedness of the appointing authority……… EL doesn’t need to instruct Police in anything, they are professionals who should do their work professionally.

No condemnation no praise for EL either, for doing this………………….

    • @ Sobongo
Zambian Police will never be professional as long as the appointing authority is the President This is why we need a People driven constitution that detaches the three arms of government that addresses governance issues; Kaizer Zulu, Mulenga Sata other State House officials were implicated in corruption issues and this lazy Edgar hesitated to give the all green to all ACC; the only way we can flight corruption is by empowering govt wings.

    • He was not fit for the job before but who brought him? There are countless other individuals like him in high positions in this gov’t.

  3. Lesson number 1: If you live in a glass house do not throw stones. These State House people become big headed because of being close to the sit of power. Richard Sakala used to threaten ZRA status with a firearm each time they tried to inspect his wife’s business’ records.

    • And the Status Quo is still the same since the days of young Castro Chiluba and Richard Sakala…this Kaponya Kaizer will be gone today but tomorrow he will be replaced by another arrogant George Chellah….as long as we do not critically address the governance issues in this country and empower govt institutions.. these hand picked kaponyas will continue pissing on your backs and telling it you its raining and laughing at you at your expense.

      Wake up from your docility!!

  4. That Charity Banda story is a total fabrication aimed at fixing Simamba for an altercation with her. I boarded an Emirates flight with her from Lusaka on Wednesday evening (probably was heading to join other cadres in New York) and she did not at all have a swollen neck. She walked around the departure area freely and majestically.

  5. Why is it that in Zambia we lack critical analysis; so does silly Charity Katanga have to wait for the president to give the order to arrest his kaponya…this is what we say when we say good Governance is non existent; we need to review the way these Police commissioners and inspectors are appointed. As long as the President has a say in their appointment we will never change. Here is case where there is an incident on Saturday night and the guy is being arrested on Friday the next week, giving the accused time to get rid of the evidence and even swapping it with an fake gun that fires blanks.
Zambians when are you going to wake up from your docility…its no wonder Lazy Edgar can call for a day of reconciliation and silly prayers when he still holding on to oppressive colonial laws…

  6. Who remembers that this is the same man that called the police “*****s” in that video we saw where chumbwe was defending cadres with pangas?

    • we all remember it muune!!! this ka kaizer is an arrogant man. and i warn him, the law of the land supercedes the laws of zambia. Law of the land is based on the people while the law of the country is based upon political interpretations of an elite few. Kaizer for you, its the law of the land that will visit you sooner than later!!!!

  7. this the work of UpND, my uncle has money and he is very powerful. Without him there would be no EL in power. Is this how you reward someone that helped rig the elections. You are just jealous that with his humble education he is in a good job. He suffered to complete his grade 12 on his own.
    This is a frame.

  8. I thought Charity Banda was assaulted at a UPND rally!!! Why mention the “assailant” is UPND? Probably to make the case political so that police with go into active mode with a pre-determined outcome?

    • Mwansa

You are right, looks like we will no longer be identified as Zambians but as PF or UPND members, uyu charity banda with a table cut niwapa kamwa maningi, am sure she said something stupid to this decent innocent man.

  9. This gun cultuer is really getting out of hand. In the 70’s we used to wire each other with bare knuckles just or ”malegeneni”. This vice needs to be nipped in the bud for once! A cold jail cell is a poor substitute for your poor wife, Kaizer. Hope you learn a lesson or two whilst in there bra, have lovely ”floor”.

  10. This people think that if you are near state house ,you are an touch able. State House is for Zambia and Zambia for Zambians not for these some of us.

    • That’s because we allow it and we tolerate mediocrity and shambolic leadership…back in the days of KK, Chiluba and Mwanawasa these positions were filled by the crème de la crème, who worked in the background…but now since we allowed kaponyas like the utterly lazy bum Edgar he will want to surround himself with his drinking pals and boot-licking cadres as he feels useless in the presence of technocrats!

  11. He needs to resign or stood down to allow investigations to take place without any political hindrance. But what happened to a ‘larger’ and ‘more’ serious allegations of corruption? Now that they have ‘permission’ to arrest him, could they also reopen those allegations? I hope this isn’t just a smokescreen and pandering just to show that the police are independent, only for the charges to disappear tomorrow. By the way the ‘intent’ of firing the gun is to kill, not just to cause ‘alarm’.
