Zambia improve on FIFA rankings

Zambia ended its two month fall on the FIFA rankings after rising two places in September.

Chipolopolo are at number 71 in the World as of October 1 rising from 74 last month.

Zambia’s placing is the same as of July before the team dropped to 73rd in August.

The teams 2-1 away win over Kenya in a 2017 Africa Cup qualifier and a 1-1 draw at home with the tournament hosts Gabon in a friendly last month aided the boost on the charts.
