Boxer Catherine Phiri says she is looking forward to making her foreign soil debut in the ring next month.
Catherine returns to the ring on November 28, seven months after losing her first professional fight at home in May to Christina McMahon for the interim WBC female bantamweight crown in Lusaka.
She will enter the ring against WBC female gold belt bantamweight champion Yazmin Rivas.
“I am not nervous to fight outside,” Catherine said.
” In fact, I have been waiting for this opportunity, I want to prove that I am a champion by winning away.”
Rivas, who is unbeaten in her last five fights, has a record of 34 wins and eight defeats.
Catherine has ten wins and one defeat.
