UPND leaders attended prayers at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on the National day of prayer and Fasting
UPND leaders attended prayers at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on the National day of prayer and Fasting

This weekend we bowed our heads together in prayer, as we have often done.

Now we must draw on the strength we find in God to confront the challenges we face head on, without fear or reservation. We must return our attention to the important issues, from which we cannot allow ourselves to be distracted and we must find renewed vigour to address those problems facing the most vulnerable in our country.

We must embrace the spirit of cooperation and work together to determine the best solutions, sharing wisdom and experience wherever possible. However, we should also not be afraid to call those out who are not doing their bit, or those whose actions do not match their words. After all this is the spirit of frank talk and sincerity that is talked about in the bible.

The reality today is that aside from fasting there are a growing number of Zambians who face the prospect of hunger on a daily basis. In fact, the 2015 Global Hunger Index has ranked Zambia as the third hungriest country in the world, well below our Southern and East African neighbours to whom we export maize. This is a shocking finding, particularly in a country that has not suffered from conflict and has been boasting bumper harvests from 2004.

The reality today is that aside from fasting there are a growing number of Zambians who face the prospect of hunger on a daily basis.

Recent pressures from millers to raise the mealie meal price are just one part of the story, and with fertiliser prices also up; prices of the commodity will rise further. It is clear that what is needed is reform of the sector and an overhaul of the support available to our farmers, millers and businesses operating in the sector so they can deliver more output at a lower price.

As the economy struggles and jobs are lost there must be an additional drive from Government to relieve the burden on businesses and incentivise start-ups and investment that will create jobs. The direct contribution of these activities to Government revenues may be modest in the short-run, but by employing and paying staff they can increase the circulation of money in the economy.

A third area of critical importance is water and sanitation. Improvements in this area have been slow to be delivered. With water shortages and sanitation concerns, particularly in urban areas, there is a heightened risk of disease and sickness that we must prepare ourselves for. Unfortunately the recent budget sets aside K3 billion more for servicing debt than it does for investing in our healthcare sector, once again far short of the 15% of GDP Zambia has pledged to invest under the Abuja declaration.

Under a UPND Government, we would have a re-ordering of priorities to invest more in these areas of critical importance, we would also use the money budgeted strategically. For example, where funds are limited interventions such as training and employing community healthcare workers are low cost but high impact interventions that also create permanent jobs.

  1. AND YOU THINK YOU ARE SMARTER THAN GOD’S POWER. THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU ARE TOO MUCH OF YOURSELF. COME NEXT YEAR, YOUR LAST STRENGHTH WILL BE DRAINED BECAUSE IN A WAY, YOU’VE BEEN BELITTLING THE POWER OF PRAYER & IN A WAY MOCKING YOUR MAKER! THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT EDGAR & THE ZAMBIAN PEOPLE WILL PULL THROUGH THESE DIFFICULT TIMES. LET’S WAIT AND SEE.

    • YOUR LUNGU HAS PUBLICLY CONFESSED FAILURE BUT YOU STILL EXPECT HIM TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEMS THE COUNTRY IS FACING! WHAT THINKING IS THAT? THE MINISTERS HE WORKS WITH HAVE PUBLICLY STATED THAT ON THEIR OWN THEY HAVE FAILED BUT YOU CONTINUE TO LOOK TO THEM FOR SOLUTIONS. I THINK THAT IS ABSURD THINKING AND RIDICULOUS REASONING. THAT IS WHAT IS CALLED BURYING ONE’S HEAD IN THE SAND.

    • The whole idea for calling for prayers was to destruct the Zambian citizens from the reality of their hardships in the compounds. Soon the prayer hangover will wear off and the reality will set in that someone needs to do his work. Otherwise, nothing changes without working. Hard work should be backing what one is requesting for in prayers and not just flying around in numbers to NY.

  2. After reading or hearing this, they will still come and say; ”Don’t just criticize, but give us solutions”.
My neighbour tells me (P) for Prayer and (F) for Fasting, was meant to undescore PF. Yaba…….!!

    • These words should have come from Chagwa being the president. Chagwa is still treating his hangover from the day of prayers. Maybe those fake pastors had even turned him into a snake or gave him fuel to drink (it also contains alcohol). Spot on HH! That is what leadership is all about- always hitting the road running. Never slumber. Abambi balelyafye ifinkonono nomba mu mansion.

    • Excellent statement by His Excellency. It’s indeed stupid to sit and wait for manna to fall from heaven just because someone said a prayer, something some of us do every week not just on the 18th October.

    • I still maintain that the true fasting is what the Bible explains here and not that drama of 18 Oct.
      Isaiah 58: 1-11
1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
3 Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.
4 Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to…

    • ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?
6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy…

    • 8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
      9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:
11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

    • Miracle miracle miracle ! After prayers and fasting, Kwacha has gained by 50% and all prices of commodities have have reduced . The mines have also shelved plans to lay off workers. The economy has had an overnight dramatic transformation for the better Well done Chagwa and your PF .

      How true is this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I await to see the true results of Chagwa ‘s Prayers and fasting plans. Chiluba did the same but only to fool Zambians that he was a man God but busy stealing in the background.

    • Ba Prayer and Fasting – HH is just jumping the gun – he opposed national prayers before being dragged at the last moment. Now he quickly issues a statement to downplay the statement from the president. Had he supported these prayers from the outset and gone to meet and shake hands with the president on the day of national reconciliation and forgiveness, this statement would have carried so much weight.

  3. ukulanda kwalyanguka ukucila ukubomba . mr politician the way you say things as if when you come in power everything will suddenly change. thank GOD you are address people who are not naive.

    • im beginning to think hh cant stand being in the same place with Edgar, hence being elsewhere, te fya ma jealous fye fi hh?

  4. fools believe in what politicians say how many election have we had b4 in this country? how many promises has the politician fulfilled b4? we know u hh & you cant fool any one reasons with your policies on paper

  5. @ziko how good is he where has he served the Zambian people for you to say is good leader? is it because of the mines he sold? or the cattle he keeps

    • @bitter family; Just be positive thinking. Despite the Prayers and Reconciliation on the 18th October, you still show hatred for HH. MMD under FTJ privatised the mines and not HH. After 18th October prayers and fasting, we all need to move forward as one flock of God’s people. Haters shall never enter God’s new Kingdom.

  6. HH thinking that he will be President next year is more delusional than me thinking that Beyoncé Knowles will fall head over heels in love with me. But then again I probably have more of a chance

  7. pf cadres critic as usual. sometime lets pretend to be normal and get the sense of brilliant ideas as these, you wont lose anything at all

  8. These words should have come from Chagwa being the president.

  9. Again Zambians are too religious and of no earthly good. They expect God to do work they themselves should be doing.
Zambia is already blessed abundantly, thank God for the blessings and work hard.
We just need economically proactive leadership.
“Ifintu fakaba bwino kuntanshi” wake up the future is today.

  10. My president has spoken, a man with substance love him or hate him, me & my entire family have decided to vote for HH & the Upnd team come 2016.

  11. Can’t see anything wrong with these wise words from a leader. May be some people just seem to have a natural hatred for HH. I thought they were crying that he should attend the prayers, when he did they are again very unhappy.

Some people like Tayali are busy blowing horns that HH did not attend prayers; may be that clip will be proof enough.
HH was not invited at showgrounds and in his humility he went on to the nearest church which was St. Ignatius and the prayers there were as good as those at show grounds, probably even better because at show grounds there was only show-off and hypocrisy.

I thought reasonably people will say well done to him, as a show of reconciliation and repentance. It seems many went there and came back even more vindictive than ever. Did they truly…

  12. THANK YOU FOR THE MOTIVATION MR. PRESIDENT. YOU HAVE REALLY ENERGIZED US INCLUDING LUNGU HIMSELF. YOU DESERVE TO BE IN OFFICE NEXT YEAR. VIVA HH VIVA!

  13. Probably this will clear the air as to whether HH attended the prayers or not.

Some unscrupulous cheer leaders like Tayali were insinuating that HH lost out because he didn’t attend the prayer session. They already want to rate ECL as a winner because of the prayer session.

I feel this shows that PF had intended to use this platform to demean the opposition especially HH. HH was not invited at the show grounds hence in his humility, he went with his colleagues to the nearest centre at St Ignatius. There is literally no need to compete and show who prayed more than the other.

We will see and hear from the talks of the leaders and will know who has repented of their guile and who is still harbouring bitterness.

So far it looks like there has been no sign of repentance from…

  14. Here we go again from the economic magician. I wish it were possible to experiment with presidents I would have voted for HH. Real life actions speak louder than words. I usually keep in mind a few things when it comes to HH. One, he has never been in government to be entrusted in governing the country, not even a ward councilor, two he became UPND president on tribal lines saying and I quote “only a Tonga can be UPND president” crushing he tribal cousin Sakwiba Sikota who was rightful successor having been UPND vice president. He became rich during Privatization of public companies. He talks ill of the majority uneducated poor people his followers refer to Kaponyas who are majority Zambia voters.

    • You are a looser. too petty but we have moved on my brother. They say, a wise man should wrestle with a pig for it will drug him into the mud and at the end of the day the pig will rejoice….. Remain in the mud brother….. we are focusing on real issues……

  15. The difficulty many Zambians have with Mr. Under 5 (HH) is this, he does not seem to learn from the past. The very act of not praying together with other leaders, especially the Republican President and many believers, underscores the point that HH infact has no respect for the sitting President and the Zambian people. Have you ever heard HH address President Lungu as President or Your Excellence? NO he has never, and he did the same to late President Sata. This implies that HH thinks is above everyone, a thing I and many Zambians have refused. How then does he aspire for the same position?
What HH doesn’t seem to realize is this, a lot of the people he underrates are actually more intelligent than him. Why do we say so? By the very fact that he is telling us to get to work, what does…

    • And did you ever hear Sata call Levy or RB President or His Excellency?? But you never complained. Sata called those two Cabbage and Nyama Soya respectively. Still you were zee. He went further to claim Levy’s brain and body did not coordinate. You were zee. What has changed now? Kuya bebele 2016.

    • The Mambas – If your HH had agreed to work with RB as his deputy, as GK advised, that would not have happened. But greed and arrogance came in the way.

    • im beginning to think hh cant stand being in the same place with Edgar, hence being elsewhere, te fya ma jealous fye fi hh?
Hh: “Syakalima, ka lungu teti kabe ka kateka ka chalo, shayeko na kutuma pepo twabo”

    • @ Adviser

Do you try to say that “…if HH had agreed to work with RB as his deputy…, HH was going to gain in morality? RB was born as a THIEF, lives life as a SUPPER CROOK and will die as CRIMINAL.

  16. But why did he not go and worship on saturday with SDAs? Was HH also not trying to show off by going to worship on Sunday with Catholics? The problem with the man is being too conceited or full of himself that is why he puts off people. He for some reason wants to snub the head of state and thinks he will attract people’s support not knowing this is what puts off many Zambians. How does he expect other Zambians to be with him at national events when he becomes President, if ever he will, when he does not want to join the President and other Zambians at national events? Does HH not realise that he is not endearing himself to many Zambians through his actions and conduct?

    • Who told you that HH didn’t go to church on Saturday to worship with SDAs? He worshipped with SDAs and then joined the prayers on sunday.

    • You are just an i.diot. On Saturday 17th October HH was at Emasdale SDA Church worshiping with his family. Again Sunday 8th, he joined the country on National Prayers. Here is HH’s Facebook post on 17th October: “As per our childhood tradition, me and my wife this morning joined our brethren at Emmasdale SDA church to worship and praise our God at the Emmasdale SDA Church. Like we have stated before, Zambia should continue being an icon of Christianity to Africa and the globe at large. We must all continue worshiping and praising God for His mercies of Life bestowed on us.”

  17. contd
What HH doesn’t seem to realize is this, a lot of the people he underrates are actually more intelligent than him. Why do we say so? By the very fact that he is telling us to get to work, what does he mean? Does HH mean that all Zambians don’t work? Its an insult.
Whilst we understand his personal frustrations, HH must realize leadership is not imposed on people. And the worst weakness HH has is his inconsistencies on many issues. Today he is banking his luck on the depreciation of the kwacha and load shedding and has forgotten about the bigger picture of Governance. Assuming the Kwacha appreciates and the load shedding is stopped, what will be his next focus because it will not be him who will infact correct these challenges but the effort of President Lungu and PF Government.

    • You are just an i.diot. On Saturday 17th October HH was at Emasdale SDA Church worshiping with his family. Again Sunday 8th, he joined the country on National Prayers. • “@ Ghettho Power

People may be more intelligent than HH, but you are DEFINITELY not the part of that group of people.

    • shadreck biemba grow with manners other wise you will perish. We are not here to say every rubbish that come in our heads. I have never come across a Biemba from North western howz so maladjusted like you. Young man adjust. You will die of jealous when HH is inaugurated as president next year.

  18. Even If One Raised From The Dead They Will Not Listen, The Man Is Saying Lets Do Something For Mother Zambia And Lift Our Brothers In Distress, It Is Called Passion,

  19. My beloved PF leadership, please go flat out and sensitize and encourage our members to verify their voters cards and register in masses especially in our strongholds because this is the strategy UPND has taken, SEE TODAY’S DAILY MAIL. Southern province is the second highest to Lusaka and already we can smell the same strategy they ambushed us in January 2015 Presidential elections. It is reported today 20th October 2015 that Southern Province has registered approximately 100,000 new voters followed by Kabwe with 71,000 voters and Western Province 44,000. How can Southern Province get more new voters than our strongholds like Copperbelt (61,000), Luapula (28,000 only) Northern Province ( 59,000 only) Eastern Province (56,000 only).
Winning an election is about huge numbers and NOT only…

    • @ Ghettho Power

Do not worry, PF “leadership” (lol) has already taken action. Each PF member is issued with three voters cards. All in the name of “reconciliation” (lol) and according to “Ten Commandment” (lol, lol, lol).

  20. @Ghetto power an Election is not a Tribal contest Match it is a very serious National undertaking to select the best representative at state house. Its not like we are selecting a headman or chief. Zambia deserves better than selecting a weak ,lazy and sick president as long as wako ni wako no. Zambians open your eyes we can not eat a president but we can eat his or her good policies. Therefore we don’t need to know a president as a relative in order to benefit. That only encourages corruption and nepotism and Tribalism leading to the current poverty and hunger. iBututu and Bu fontini lets abash.

  21. contd
Winning an election is about huge numbers and NOT only winning with a small gap. I can clearly see that these chaps in UPND want to ambush PF again like they did in January 2015 but thank God, the PF elections Manager must watch these numbers and let our SG Mr. Chama wake up and start mobilizing. Luapula, Northern, Eastern, Muchinga, Copperbelt and Lusaka Provinces needs to register over 100,000 new voters because in these Provinces people are not tribal unlike the other known two provinces. This is a timely warning to the PF organizing committee, do what it takes to get our people register today!!!!!

  22. SHADREK BIEMBA YOU ARE AN *****? DO YOU TELL YOUR FATHER TO CLOSE HIS ANUS? AND HOW BIG IS YOUR FATHERS ANUS? THE WAY YOU ARE FEELING NOW THATS WHAT HIS CHILDREN ARE FEELING AFTER LEADING YOUR COMMENT. YOU ARE AN ***** YOU SHOULD THINK BEFORE YOU WRITE THE NONSENSE YOU WRITE. YOUR FATHER DIDNT DO A DUD JOB. I DONT BLAME YOU ITS YOUR FATHER I BLAME

  23. “fact, the 2015 Global Hunger Index has ranked Zambia as the third hungriest country in the world, well below our Southern and East African neighbours to whom we export maize. This is a shocking finding, particularly in a country that has not suffered from conflict and has been boasting bumper harvests from 2004.”
WILL LUNGU AND THE REST OF THE PHARISEES DESPUTE THIS? INSTEAD OF DOING THIER JOB THEY ARE PARADING. NOW CBU IS IN FLAMES AGAIN WHILE LUNGU IS SUPPOSEDLY ONBTHE GROUND TO ACCESS THE SITUATION WILL HE DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE ONCE AND FOR ALL? ALL THEY ARE DOING IS RACKING UP ALLOWANCES! GO VISIT YOUR PEOPLE AT CBU AND HEAR FROM THEM. PLEASE TWAPAPATA!

  24. HH we know you follow these blogs,
can you start preaching accountability in you messages. This PF GRZ is not accountable for anything. Can you come up with a system to make Ministers and MPs and managers accountable for their promises and performance of what they are in-charge of. You will gain a lot of extra votes from this move. PF are afraid of accountability, every one knows this. Mr HH this move will be a breath of fresh air into Zambian politics for all doubters to see and feel.

  25. Why doe GRZ pay for DSTV in offices of Ministers, Deputy Ministers and PSs? Is this not a waste of resources which can help reduce the budget deficit?

  26. This under 5 Chap likes to run his mouth too much. Kindly wake up and see what is happening in your bedroom. You are about to be shown the door by GBM and his people. Shine your eye.

  27. Fifty-one years after replacing the white governor with black ones and all we can think of is declaring prayer day. Rail tracks have been ripped out, roads are only just re-surfaced in crucial areas where development should have happened even thirty years ago, and farmers are still being told how much their maize is worth and where to sell albeit the government is not privy to the struggles of production. What can I say? I am just awestruck by the levels of mediocrity wrought of fifty-plus years of simple replacement… This isn’t independence. Independence only to move about…

  28. HH can you also propose to open all GRZ expenditure and accounts except defense to public scrutiny audits to carried out on all projects above a certain amount.
This non accountability by PF is proving to be a hindrance to our development.

    • HH even the donar community will gladly fund such an exercise. But we all know who will object to have their actions accoutable under the public eye with the help of donar community, but they are the same ones who are happy to shamlessly beg for handouts to start stealing. We the public will give overwhelming support for any measures that brings accountability to this astoundingly unfathomable misuse of our money and resources.

  29. BUT THIS MAN SAID PRAYER WAS NOT NECESSARY. WHY DID HE DECIDE TO PRAY. HE SAW THAT THE WIND BLOWING IN FAVOR OF PRAYER WAS SO STRONG AND UNSTOPPABLE. SO HE HUMBLED HIMSELF AND SWALLOWED A HUMBLE PIE. HIS STRATEGY WAS POOR. IN A COUNTRY WHERE PEOPLE CLAIM TO BE CHRISTIANS, ONE WHO WANTS THE POPLES VOTES DARE NOT STOP THEM FROM PRAYING. MANY HAVE SAID HE IS A FREE MASON. THESE ARE SOME OF THE ACTIONS THAT GO TO CONFIRM THAT THE MAN IS TRULY A FREE MASON. A RELIGIOUS CULT.

  30. Am so shocked at how stupid & arrogant hh is. so to him no one was workin 2day apart from himself. Don’t insult the pipo of zambia u fool.

  31. Over 40% of under 5 children are stunted in Zambia meaning their future prospects of education and health are dim. The Bible extols us to feed the hungry. After prayer and fasting, I should see govt feeding the hungry.

  32. Hh has never even been MP. The only thing we know about him is that he sold the mines at prices far below the expected and that Hez in rearing cattle. Surely is this the only thing to make this buffoon go 2 state house? Only fools can vote 4 this freemason

    • Then HH must be a very great man. That even not having been into Government he sold the mines of the Zambian Government! Who was the Govenement and where was the government? HH 2016

  33. How long can UPND cover up for the cartel and fight a proxy war for international multinationals, omit material facts, and just generally get the story wrong about Zambia’s economy? Even mentioning the copper and steel prices on global markets would have changed the entire complexion of the article – perhaps that’s why HH omitted it. Again let this man give you dull Zambians a costed plan of his manifesto. He will never do that because he enjoys lying.

  34. im beginning to think hh cant stand being in the same place with Edgar, hence being elsewhere, te fya ma jealous fye fi hh?

  35. Hh: “Syakalima, ka lungu teti kabe ka kateka ka chalo”
Syakalima: hmm ba president, mwa landa nechi bemba, ninshi fya ba serious ifi!
Hh: elo syakalima, these days ka lungu kale imona kwaiti ni ka starring, elo ninshi ne starring ni nebo, am i lying Douglas?
Syakalima: u r! Kaili naka kola umwela nomba, elo chi kambwili nacho, nachi tubelesha shi no shiku?
Hh: Anyway fi kopo, nangu kale imona ka starring, abantu nabo!
Syakalima: apa ba kateka, ka lungu nakasamwa, tube sensitive, naka cha, mwilalaba ati ka ku chimwemwe!
Hh: ichi tonga, ichi tonga, Douglas, Nkombo aisa,
    Syakalima: uyu nawo.

  36. One doesn’t need a degree in predictive modelling or a PHD in data mining to see how the Post newspaper (blog) treats President Lungu with a harsher standard, omits context, and shows a clear preference for the cartel narrative.

    • bottom line is, the post is extremely incompetent, they have moved from professionalism to major incompetence, just like ZESCO!

  37. HH is just another political opportunist, how many here remember how he took over power in UPND when mazoka died? Like a wild animal. The mans ideas are so shallow. Only way he can get into power through sheer frustration with the current *****s, not any merit of his own.

    • Do you remember how Lungu got power in PF through show of hands as a means of acclamation rather than election through the ballot. Is that any more meritorious by comparison?

    • Mukose Muntu wandi hahahaha….This time around Zambians are neither looking backwards nor sideways, we are heading FORWARD! Wake up and smell the coffee. By the way, how did ECL take over the PF realms from Sampa M at Mulungushi the Panga style? Was that on Merit?? Come on! dont forget too quickly, this is what is killing our Country.

  38. Lovely words from the UPND President. I appreciate the wisdom with which he has entertained the challenges post prayer mood. Something really did shift on Sunday the challenges18th of October. Hichilema sounds mature. And the words he has spoken are true.
But I note the wrong use of the term ‘would’ when he refers to the future! Has divinity shown him that they won’t such that he shifts from his usual “we will” and lands a ka humble “we would have…”. I so very much respect the power of the tongue. Thank you, Mr Hichilema for your alternative suggestions. Efikala abantu sir.
God Bless You and God Bless Mother Zambia.

  39. Tribalism, tribalism, tribalism and tribalism will not deter people from choosing a leader that has shown clout and understanding of the Zambian economy and the financial world, the synergy to work with everyone from all walks of life, a humble son of Zambia with strong family values a committed Christian with a passion to save humanity, our hope for a better organised and balanced society the paradigm shift our beloved country begs for. I have decided to be lead by this man because his success and confidence inspires me and I am energized by his model of leadership. Well-done HH

  40. All the negatives notwithstanding as posted by many here, HH is only making a plea – LET US GET DOWN TO WORK !! Nothing more, nothing less, the notion of always attacking HIS Person, is numbskullity of the worst Kind….a small metaphorical tale from Poland:

a devout Christian was stranded on a lonely island. Many came to the rescue but their help was refused saying,”God will save me”. After the last rescue attempt, fate took ist course and the christian perished. In heaven he rushed-up to God screaming,” Why didn’t you save me?!!”. God said,” Don’t be so stupid, I sent several rescuers and gave you a brain!”. GET OUT THERE AND WORK ON A SOLUTION, that IS HH’s only plea, for God’s sake !!

    • BTW probably my best Quote:

“The only thing stranger than African fiction is African truth.” National Geographic 🙂

  41. HH does not think, he went to St. Ignatius Church while most upnd cadres and SDA members from the compounds attended the prayers at show grounds. HH is very arrogant and too full of himself. He thinks he is above every one. You will go to the same people you did not want to pray with for votes next year. I shudder to think want this arrogant he goat will treat Zambians if he becomes president of this country. You who are saying Sata never addressed Mwanawasa and RB as president, will your dull hh continue copying what Sata used to do? hh has got a very evil heart, what does he go to do at church?

  42. hh doesn’t think, he went to St. Ignatius church while most of his cadres and fellow SDAs from the compounds went to show grounds. hh is an arrogant he goat, he thinks he knows it all. You will go to the compounds next year asking for votes from the same people you do not want to associate with at Independence and other national events. Some of you, you upnd bloggers say Sata never addressed LPM and RB as president, is your dull hh going to continue copying what Sata did.

    • YOU SOUND TO BE SO FULL OF HATE AND ANIMOSITY YET YOU CLAIM TO HAVE PRAYED, REPENTED AND RECONCILED! TO WHICH god DID YOU PRAY?
YOU ARE JUST CONFIRMING THAT YOUR PRAYERS AND FASTING WERE NOT GENUINE BUT HYPOCRITICAL. I DID WELL TO STAY AWAY FROM THAT ABOMINATION.

  43. UPND should work with the gov ‘t and not have ambitions for a change of gov’t because we need stability. Also this is no time for an experimenting gov’t, that possibly wants to break up our boundaries and make multiple countries out of land mass.

We have debts and the state of international economies is not going to improve dramatically to bring about changes in our economy therefore no amount of UPND economic policy us going to bring notable change.

Let’s be sturdy, Steady on our development journey. We’ve hit a rough corner, but calm and determination will win the day.
