Former Vice President Guy Scott says he will in January next year launch a new book in honour of the late President Michael Sata.

Dr. Scott said the book titled “In black and white” will among the many contents depict the life experiences he went through with the late president.

He said the book is nearing completion but with only few things remaining to be done before it is officially launched.

Dr. Scott said this at St. Ignatius parish in Lusaka yesterday during the memorial church service in honour of the late president Michael Sata.

“I met Mr Sata in 1991 at Mulungushi Rock of Authority and I am writing a book on his life titled ‘In Black and White’, which will be ready in January next year,” Dr Scott said.

And Dr. Scott said he will forever remember the late Mr. Sata for inspiring him to withstand the pressure that comes with ones political life.

He said due to his attitude and self-belief in politics, the late Mr. Sata will forever be remembered as an inspiration to the many political generations to come.

Yesterday October 28, 2015 marks one year since Mr. Sata died at King Edwards the Seventh hospital in London at the age of 77.

Mr. Sata became Zambia’s fifth President after winning the September 20, 2011 elections and was subsequently sworn in on September 23 the same year.

    • I can imagine the book full of praises of that nepotistic, narcissistic, arrogant & rude snake. Amazing how the dead are feared more than the living!

    • SCOT, I hope you will also include how much Zambians taxpayers money was spent on Satas MEDICAL TOURISM under the LIE of “looking for investment” and how much the private hospital in state house cost.

Also tell us how much he received after his FOUR SALARY INCREASES and three “retirement houses”!!

      Don’t forget Kasebas US $ 300, 000-00 accommodation bill.

Maybe then your book might be worth reading.

  1. With his book, Guy Scott will mug the same PFools that voted for Sata in 2011. This is one book that will never be in my library. Sata was a blot on the Zambian political scene, a total nuisance.

  2. When are we Zambians going to begin appreciating each other? Firstly, this will be a literature book. Secondly, we can then judge the quality of language and ideas behind the the book. Why then do we want to criticize the book even before we have seen it? Lets show maturity here!

    • “Why then do we want to criticize the book even before we have seen it?”

Because it is being written by the man that LIED to the Nation about Sata being sick! So, can we believe anything he writes now to try and justify his dishonesty??

  3. Why? Do all white people think. about colour as an object? Why did he not. title the book using directions e.g. North and South, or using class: middle and high class or using height: tall and short or oratory behavior: loud and quiet or other behavior descriptions: calm and aggressiveness. Scott you have also claimed to be black inside now your true colors have come out. Your buku is not good before it even comes out.

  5. MICHAEL CHILUFYA SATA IS THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED IN ZAMBIA. WHETHER YOU HATED HIM OR NOT HE INTRODUCED VERY HIGH STANDARDS OF DOING THINGS WHICH ZAMBIANS NEVER USED TO KNOW. SATA HAD THE TALENT TO COMBINED TALKING AND DOING. IT IS IN SATA WHEN ZAMBIANS STARTED KNOWING THAT A ROAD CAN BE BUILT IN THEIR LIFE TIME, JUST LIKE UNIVERSITIES AND OTHER THINGS. SATA WAS SENT BY JEHOVAH TO SET BY EXAMPLE, THE STANDARDS BAR VERY HIGH. HE WAS TRULY, A RESULTS-ORIENTED MAN. I WILL BE ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE TO BUY GUY’S BOOK ABOUT SATA. BRING IT ON, GUY.
