MPs football team beat Diplomats accredited to Zambia 11-1

Diplomats accredited to Zambia on Friday 23, October, 2015 were beaten 11-1 by Zambian Parliamentarians in a football match held at the Olympic Youth Development Centre.

The match started around 14 hours with a netball tournament between officials from the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development and Members of Parliament.

MPs scored 27 goals while Officials from the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Child Development scored 2 goals.

In football, the Zambian Parliamentarians outshined the diplomats with Chipangale Member of Parliament Vincent Mwale, who is also Youth, Sport and Child Development Minister scoring five goals.

Other MPs who scored include, Chilanga Member of Parliament Keith Mukata and Katuba Member of Parliament Jonas Shakafuswa.

  1. These are conveniently selected diplomats. The diplomats i know jog every day and they would have walloped these MPs whose only contribution in parliament is to shout ya ya ya ya ya ya! and where is Kambwili here? .

  2. Imwe na imwe Is this a story? I think you have lazy reporters who are used to think politicians are news. This is some small little get together by politicians and just because they are politicians doesnt mean they make news. May be you should walk around Kabulonga and tell us which dog has barked and which hasnt.

  3. This result is very un-diplomatic. Goes to show what these guys think of our politicians.
    As for LT why report a 23/10 useless story today.
