  1. Is the Beer man on Holiday to meet former classmates or is he working from Kitwe? And Who paid for all his school mates to travel from wherever they were to just come and see how the former school mate is now successfully despite not being the bright boy at his secondary school? Totally unnecessary and not working on duty. And Pictures were taken on Monday!!! a Working day in Zambia!!!. Basically President dodged from work to go and meet his former classmates. His Salary for Monday should be deducted!!!

    • I wonder how his former school mates feel about him being a president. There’s absolutely no need to go green with envy as this was not a result of hard work but the unfortunate death of someone who worked so hard. The moron is now even able to threaten someone that he can fall on them like a ton of bricks! Ka-ldiot.

    • Ba Chief Bootlicker are you assuming that teachers cannot pay for travel from wherever they may be in the country. What is inspiration? is it confined to some illogical thinking or somewhere in developed countries? Some of us have a complete opposite view to your thought.

  2. @MMD Chief Bootlicker
Ulisaka sana iwe cikala. Is it wrong to go back where your life started from? I always visit my home school in the village and I meet my old friends who are now fishermen and peasant farmers respectively. Grow up man.

    • @JOBERGY, of course it is not ..and by all means we are encouraged to do that sort of thing from time to time … BUT the issues here is doing it when you are supposed to be working. Try doing it on your company time and lets see how long you keep your Job. That is my point here. The nation has been told that the President is working from Kitwe..is holding a class re-union part of that??? ..again on a Monday for that matter!!!

  3. MMD Chief Bootlicker,

I cannot believe the childish reactions I am reading here. What is so objectionable about ECL going to his former school? Can’t ECL take time off from work to go visit his friends and his former school just because he is a president? Even if his sojourn to Kitwe involves work, are you suggesting that he is not supposed to a breather, and relax even a little bit? For me as well, every time I am on the Copperbelt, I never miss an opportunity to visit my former school. I can’t believe we have people with such twisted thinking!

    • Lungu has been taking time off work ever since he became president! There is totally nothing inspiring about this lazy president, zilch!

    • Twisted thinking? I think you are the one with warped understanding. MMD-BL is very clear: “Not while the house is on fire!” Have I made it clearer for you?

If I may add, “when you are president, there is no taking time off.” Presidents take working holidays, not time off. You hear?

  4. Thats typifies Zambians. Twalenwa nabo, balya teti.. let the mn enjoy. I probably do the same thing. a day worth minling and catching up cannot spoil the big picture he has for zambia. If he does not touch base ati.. he is lost or ditached. Get a life and suck it up. That position is tough and he need s a coolay!

  5. MMD CHIEF BOOTLICKER
You are a pathetic HH worshipper, what type of people are you kanshi ba UPND.
??. Everything thing the President does is wrong ,now i believe that like your god you are devil worshippers. Its just looking for negatives in everything the President does, the bible is very clear “YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS”

  6. Landslide on the coppertbelt for lungu and PF in 2016.
I know a selected few will disagree, but sadly that’s how things will be next year…

    • landslide sure, if people want to continue starving, buy sugar at 1000 kwacha and more misery their way. You can see here, those people are expecting something and the man has zero to offer except a speech. A wise leader will show up with something.

  7. THe president should not disturb the kids curriculum. There is no room for a President’s visit on their school calendar. Efyo balefelukila amasukulu abana

    • misters Zebigge and Stringer, if you are having that problem try to click on the empty white space underneath each picture number. You may be able to view these photos ops one by one.

  8. Mr Zebige, don’t mention it. If you really want to know, I do not have a single picture from my secondary school. Many, many good memories but not a single tangible picture. So I envy you.

  9. #Zebigge & Stringer, I also experienced the problem of not seeing photos on LT this week after I installed ios9. I saw them as I clicked on each space before Nyau told you what to do. I suspect that you could be using either a mac laptop or ipad. On my pc which still uses window 7 Windows later version gave us problems. I am able to see photos on other Zambian blogs but not on LT. Does LT guys have a solution for those who can’t see the photos apart from Nyau’s solution

  10. We need more national readers, academicians and sucessful businessmen like GBM to visit their former schools and talk to children. It happens in developed country . It helps to reshape our children into postive thinkers

  11. Listen! a president visiting a school is ok. If he has the right message the young people should be inspired. Inspiration, motivation, and ambition are key to pursuit of personal dreams and success.
