PF Media and Publicity Committee Vice Chairman Sunday Chanda has challenged UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema to take responsibility for the violence that occurred on the Copperbelt.
Mr. Chanda says it is disappointing that Mr. Hichilema who is aspiring for the presidency does not respect the advice that was granted to his party by the police not to hold political meetings on the Copperbelt.
He said this in an interview with ZNBC news in Lusaka.
Mr. Chanda also urged the opposition leader to condemn the recent attack by UPND cadres on local musician Wesley Chibambo commonly known as Dandy Crazy in Mazabuka where he was scheduled to perform.
And MMD National Youth Chairperson Bowman Lusambo has urged the opposition UPND to condemn the recent violence in which a woman was manhandled for wearing another party’s regalia.
Mr. Chanda, please don’t mislead yourself and the people: it’s your govt which is restricting people’s movement and right to association. Leave them to meet who they want anywhere they want. Look at how many people attended those meetings, don’t you see they are looking for solutions to the problems they are facing? If your govt means well for the people, don’t suppress them, just sell your ideas and the better ideas will win; not dictatorship.
It’s only in Zambia and Lusaka Times in Particular which entertains and give space to people like Sunday Chanda who every time he opens his mouth the only thing that comes out of his mouth is nonsense after nonsense

If a citizen of Zambia is harmed by any one other than the self while exercising one’s rights, it’s the responsibility of the president to ensure that someone is protected from harm.
In this respect, Lungu failed.

YOUR KAMBWILI FAILS TO MENTION IT ON THE NATIONAL NEWS BECAUSE HE KNOWS THAT IT IS HIS PARTY TO BLAME. HAD IT BEEN UPND IT WOULD HAVE MADE HEADLINES FOR A WEEK ON YOUR PROPAGANDA NEWS.
I condemn in no certain terms the restrictions of any Zambians freedom of movement within Zambia. this Sunday is just a wasted Sunday. Lungu is the one who is supposed to condemn the behaviour of the police and his cadres. What were PF cadres doing at a UPND secretariat?
