The ruling Patriotic Front has dismissed as nonsense reports that it has been mobilising Malawian nationals to register as voters in the just ended mobile voter registration exercise in Eastern province.

PF Central Committee Chairperson for Information Frank Bwalya says such reports are only a perpetration of political parties that have foreseen their defeat in the 2016 general election.

Father Bwalya suspects that the opposition UPND which earlier alleged that the ruling PF is using Israelis to rig the 2016 general election are the ones behind such media reports.

He says there is no way the ruling PF can encourage foreign nationals to register as voters when it has been winning elections in the country without the involvement of foreigners.

Father Bwalya has also distanced the ruling party from the attacks on two journalists who were investigating the same reports of Malawian nationals allegedly registering as Zambian Voters.

He states that the people who attacked the two investigative journalists could have been those that were angered for being referred to as Malawians when in fact they are Zambians.

  1. My namesake is ISIS proper. I remember how he beheaded a defenseless chicken and spilled its blood. Even here you can see that he tolerates beating people when one is angered. He surely could not manage as a prelate therefore turning to his only talent. Violence.

  2. Mr Bwalya, instead of trivialising and mocking the innocent journalists who were brutalised while on duty, the best you can do is to show some degree of mercy and sympathy for them. As a former Catholic Father/ priest, surely you should show care for people as Jesus did show care for the oppressed. Lets be man enough to criticise the wrongs in our communities and not politicising everything. Violence should be condemned by you our leaders and not trivialising it.
Catholics care for people and the not opposite.

  3. Ni ba “do or die zambia” as his political party was called.
And to think PF appointed you a board member at ZESCO , that is why Zambia is in trouble. Qualifications or track record don’t count, as long as you are have a big mouth and have an appetite for failure and corruption, you are in.

  4. PF WILL DENY THEY ARE PF MEMBERS WHEN THE BOAT FINALY SINKS. THESE PEOPLE WILL DENY EVEN THEIR OWN MOTHERS JUST TO GAIN MILEAGE AS FOR SATAN BWALYA, YOU WILL GO TO THE HOTTEST PIT IN HELL.

  5. Former station manager radio ichengelo that’s how I remember Frank. This man really is good when it comes to campaigns.

  6. This man is really insane or probably an *****. Why are people even referring to him as father? Anyway even a fool has an opinion.

  7. Because they have registered under age they feel their friends will do the same. Pipo in PF strong holds learnt a lesson from figures from southern province. They have registered like cimuni.
