  1. First day and he is working, he may end up being good after all.
Great to see umwaiche wandi Katongo in good shape.

    • Iwe Nostradamus, I think you don’t know that everyone in the national team camp is paid for each day that you show up. So everyone is motivated to go there in on the first day, so that could be the motivation and not that he is hard working.

    • @PUNDIT, I think you’re being too judgemental of a person you don’t even know. The lesson for us all Zambians to get from this is that work starts from day 1 – just like the game of soccer starts from the moment the ref blows his kick-off whistle. therefore our strikers should start trying to score immediately and not playing reactive soccer where you only get busy coz you’ve conceded a goal or two.

    • @one ngwee, you are the one being judgemental by asserting that Zambians don’t know that works starts from day 1 when you don’t have any evidence to prove your assertions. Pundit is just giving you another possible side of the story to keep you open minded.

  2. Zambians need to be serious. This guy is showing you what self discipline is. You dont need someone with a whip behind you. You should just work because you have a conscience. Work like this and all our troubles will be left behind. Viva Kawri!!

    • Iwe , I don’t think this is about discipline. What motivates everyone to go there are the daily allowances. A daily allowance can even be more than your salary

  3. This boy Irfan wouldn’t even make it to coach in a Division 1 Championship side in England…welcome to Zambia where the Great Galu treats FAZ like his tuckshop. All this boy needs to do is beef up his CV after 12 months he will have coached a national team to play in an FIFA qualifier or at a AFCON Final…clubs will come calling.

  4. #Jay Jay, Lwandamina too wouldn’t make it for a Div 1 championship in england. but we need to support our people and give them chance. grow up man. muzungu will only give chance to the French, European or Spanish coaches.

  5. …if by miracle the team wins the cup…this guy will overshadow Lwandamina and get all the credit…if as usual the team gets booted out in preliminaries, Lwandamina’s name will be prominent…..By the way how much is this guy’s payments compared to Lwandmina..??…has he really come to add value to the team or the team is there to add value on him..??…deals initiated by Kalu are always a suspect….
