First Lady mourns Luapula Province Minister’s daughter who died in the US

First Lady Esther Lungu was today among hundreds of mourners who attended the funeral service for Luapula Province Minister Benson Kapaya’s daughter, Mumba who died in the USA.

Speaking during the service, Mrs. Lungu said she was representing the President and that the first family was saddened by the death of General Kapaya’s daughter.

Mrs. Lungu asked the family to put their faith in God.

And Reverend Colonel Henry Matifeyo urged the family to seek comfort in God’s word.

  1. This is very sad. Our young people should not be dying at such a young age. LT what was the cause of the accident? sickness or car accident? Condolences to the family

  2. Even old people should not be dying at such an old age. They too need to live. Condolences to the family and wish them the strength they deserve to pass through this sad and trying moment

  3. What was the daughter’s name? how old was she? How many children if any has she left behind? What was she doing in States…that’s how you report a story …this isn’t about Ester Lungu

    • @Jay jay agree not about Ester. But your questions are too many.
      Even here in USA are shocked that even embassy sent any condolences messages. They write about dual citizenship.
