PF Deputy GS Mumbi Phiri,
PF Deputy GS Mumbi Phiri,

PF Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri says she will not be surprised if UPND cadres start to force civil servants to receive their President Hakainde Hichilema.

Commenting on the latest spat of political violence which occurred in Bwengwa on Saturday Ms Phiri said it was unheard of for cadres to beat up government workers for receiving the President.
She said behavior of the cadres should not be entertained in a democratic and civilised country like Zambia.

She said political violence was what led the former ruling party, UNIP to abolish multiparty politics in the country and that the UPND should not push the PF into taking that rout adding that the ANC under Simon Mwansa Kapwapwa forced the ruling UNIP to resort to one party state because of the violent behavior of his party.

On the dilapidated Bwengwa primary school which the UPND leader attended Hakainde Hichilema, Ms Phiri said people should learn to plough back to communities they come from and that when one is blessed with riches it was only fair to pay a little to communities which played a part to their success.

She claimed that she often donates paint and other small things to Kamuchanga primary school in Mufulira were she attended her primary education.

  1. The cadres that besieged an International Airport and held a plane and it’s passengers hostage deserve condemnation you damned woman. Anyway at least you acknowledge that HH will soon take over to come and show you what political leadership should be!

    • Zambian bloggers are dull to the bone.

This woman is tell you in no uncertain terms that declaring a ONE PARTY STATE is on the agenda and all you can bleat about are minor side issues??

Listen here iwe chiMumbi Phira and your power hungry cohorts.

There is no where in the current or old constitution that empowers a sitting head of state to declare a one party state, so doing that is illegal and would immediately plunge the country into a protracted civil guerrilla war.

      Choice is yours.

    • This is the Mubi that justified violence against UPND when Edgar was touring Eastern Province saying wearing UPND regalia was provocative to the PF. if anyone had any doubt of Edgar Lungu’s leadership capability, they only have to refer to the statement he made about the violence in Bweengwa. The Commander in Chief called upon his cadres and not the Police arrest those engaged in violence. What does that tell you?

    • Powder yinaleta kantu… Bantu baoneka monga bavala mask… Awe sure mwe… No wonder she thinks Lungu can declare a one party state… Don’t even try madam. In fact you must be arrested for insinuating for an illegal act.

    • Forgive this empty tin called mumbi Phiri for her ignorance on Zambian politics.

On another note how much does paint really cost for it to be classified as a notable donation? How shameful

Lungu should also take us to his former primary school to show us just how well he has done. Zambian Watchdog, send your investigative reporter and give us an update

    • The other day Lungu spoke about the country degenerating into a civil war. People wake up! Lungu knows he will not be re-elected. Why all of a sudden is talking about a civil war and a one party state? This is how desperate he is .

  2. You st-upid woman how can you be proud to say you donate small things. you’re really making things worse for yourselves. I believe HH will imprisons most of you and then after him Zambia will get a real or non compromised leader as Zambian people will wake up. its the only way. We will have southern Tribalism just as we have had evident northern tribalism then people will judge the system for what it is. We need to go another 5 years of uncertainty. enough with these bandits. We seem to learn only by shock or terrible situations.

    Thanks

  3. Mumbi Phiri has a chicken brain and like her boss ECL whose intelligence team is equally dull keep repeating that HH attended Bwengwa Primary School when it is factually incorrect. It is not as if both Lungu and Mumbi Phiri were not corrected that in actual fact the primary school HH attended was Mooya and not Bwengwa! HH is causing a lot of butterflies in both Lungu’s and Phiri’s stomachs and they keep hallucinating! Rehabilitation of schools and any other government infrastructure is not the responsibility of individuals who have worked hard to make comfortable lives for themselves. How many rich Zambians are financing government infrastructure in areas where they hail from or attended school? Maybe there is government policy change by PF that it is now citizens’ responsibility to…

  4. contd….. is not the responsibility of individuals who have worked hard to make comfortable lives for themselves. How many rich Zambians are financing government infrastructure in areas where they hail from or attended school? Maybe there is government policy change by PF that it is now citizens’ responsibility to fund rehabilitation of government infrastructure! Both Lungu and Mumbi Phiri put together can not equal HH’s charity work and he is not singing about it but we hear it from those that have been assisted! And please ba Mumbi Phiri don’t use scare tactics for your insatiable appetite to stay in power, just be graceful you have had opportunity to rape national resources you don’t deserve! Once again HH ATTENDED MOOYA PRIMARY SCHOOL!

  5. Theres still a very loud silence on the near lynching of Miles by a well known jerabos minions yet you are quick to look what’s up in your neighbors yard!! Hypocrisy in full display!

  6. Stop attacking a woman worth being your mother u *****s. You can’t debate without insulting Mrs. Phiri, let alone the President of Zambia, Southern Province included? You will cry for the last time in August as people of Zambia votes in yet again President Lungu, and retire your under 5 for good politically. *****s of the *****est.

Does Mumbi Phiri knows what she is talking about.PF did bring Multipartism??

  8. Comment:What about the DEBS who was beaten in one of the new districts of Western Province allegedly by pf caders??

  9. No wonder this flower girl vowed to change after meeting the Pope in the Vatican but still doing what she knows best, uttering nonsense.

  10. Is Mumbi Phiri normal? Is the appointing officer Edgar Chagwa Lungu normal?
Sata was right about his caders Lungu, his cabinet and Mumbi Phiri included.
    One word he used, USELESS!!!

  11. The voting pattern for southern province in the last elections is a deafening knell of this fact. Mmembe in his post newspaper has been brazen referring to UPND’s stronghold as a “Bantustan” in previous editorials. The question is: going into elections, will UPND manage to break this negative perception? Can UPND take steps to undo the damage and reverse this tribal tag?

    • You are very stupid, phiri is talking about reverting to one party state and you are talking about tribalism. Sometimes you people must be ashamed of yourselves.

  12. How possible is it that UPND cadres can see nonsense in what other people say? Probably a classic example of a (traditional) pot calling the modern electric kettle black!

  13. Lead by example and show us what you have done for your old school which made you come out the way you went in. These useless people just talk before engaging their brains. That is we are in this mess .I support Lungu the ‘Grade twelve ‘ clause in the constitution should stand because people like Mumbi Phiri because we need to weed out these ignorant sods.

  14. You are already doing it ba PF. Fat Albert CK forced the civil servants in Muchinga to go and listen to his hogwash.

  15. THIS IS A LIE, the statement is not correct. ANC africa national congresss was under Mr. Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula, the Choma declaration of 1973. Yes violence was order of the day in the 70s, Bamaibuye this did not ANC leadership anyway. Smart people will not use violence.

  17. no need to waste time on mediocre statements which lack analysis. how dare she (and PF) thinks of abolishing multiparty politics? You can as well ban PF for Ndola airport and other worse violence

  18. Commentary on any given subject by Mubi Phiri ALWAYS results in unpalatable language. This should worry madam Phiri and PF. Phiri’s sources of infomation is usually wrong eg. ANC leader was not Simon Kapwepwe, it was Mwaanga Nkumbula. Journalists who write false news would be urinated in their mouths, she is unfortunate to have married an easterner, men with……. are all examples of the curse Mumbi Phiri carries around with her.
This toxic ranting dents heavily on PF government, hence her delussional thought of turning PF into a one party state.
