  1. We can make Zambia better than this. All we need is to think and act positively. Next lets see HH and lungu sharing the same table. We cant continue leaving like cats and dogs when we have same agenda and we are not sure of the next president so cast your nets widely if not all the areas

  2. A lot of inddor weddings of late.

Bu the first lady has no right being there- she steals the limleight for wrong reasons.

Also the bride and Groom should be smiling – the first ones look a sorry state dont they?

I would prefer an outddor wedding to an indoor wedding.

    Thanks

    BB2014

  3. The weddings where couples don’t smile much are for marriages which last longer unlike weddings where there is a lot of bwakanyeka.

  4. I guess that is the first lady newly found job attending weddings! Just saying.
Yep the first couples look like they have been forced into it!

    One love

  5. Politicians taking Alliances to another level, you have to marry him/her it’s in the best interest of politics.

  6. Zambian women whats this craze about artificial straight hair (FIMA WIGS) even the so called educated ones. I cannot spot any one (lady) on these wedding pics with natural African hair. Do you (ladies) ask yourselves on how many white or indian or chinese ladies wear kinky hair WIGS? I salute South African BLACK ladies. At least they are proud of how God created them. A LARGE PROPORTION SPOT THEIR NATURAL HAIR PROUDLY and wow their natural curves!

    • My brother, its a tragedy what we are experiencing in africa. Its not just the hair, its everything. Personally, i would love to see more traditional weddings than this white mans idea of marriage where they dress the woman in a white dress. We are losing this cultural battle. We dont carry our own names, we dont wear our own clothes, we wear fake hair, we speak foreign languages, our education system is one which propagates white supremacy, our culture and demeanor is polluted with western standards, our religions are all foreign such that even our traditional leaders like ba chitimukulu are busy rocking the pale faced jesus. Its sad. If you lose your culture, you lose your identity. Without identity, you purpose in life becomes the advancement of a foreign culture.

    • #9.2 @ Mulenga Lungu: I REFUSE to REDUCE myself to YOUR LEVEL of trading insults on this blog site, simply because I cannot see the other person. Suffice to say this craze of wearing straight artificial hair (wigs/extensions) to IMITATE Caucasian or Asian ladies is a manifestation of a deep rooted inferiority complex which YOU most probably suffer from. And the country/Zambia is spending MILLIONS of usd in FOREX to import these pseudo-status symbol/”luxury” articles that are in fact an INDICTMENT of your own & should I dare say (collectively as Zambian black women) extremely low self-esteem and colonial hangover. No one imports your/our authentic Zambian/African braids. Think about that. Shaa!

    • @Quest. Very good point indeed. I have never been prouder than when I see an African woman as natural as she can be. Nothing wrong with the braids but those plastic wigs, please! They all look like they have dead squirrels on the tops of their heads. And because they are so expensive, the women keep them on for a long time without washing them. You can imagine the ‘perfume’ that comes from there!

I salute the West African black ladies as well. Beautiful and elegant in that African print attire they so naturally wear…, the elaborate head scarfs……no women can carry those the way an African woman can. The leading ladies in being Zambian, natural and beautiful should be those in public positions such as Ma Esther Lungu and Ma Inonge Wina.

  7. What a collection of ugly women! Is there a shortage of pretty girls in Zambia or it just a question of marrying ‘in a famous family’? All the girls getting married are so unattractive! They look like he-she women!

  8. Its a real shame our Zambian women have to wear those hideous weaves/wigs and heavily powder faces to be comfortable with themselves…this is why knowledge of self is important…its very off putting…Nigerian weddings are much more colorful they promote the traditional attire!!

    • @VJ you should know your wifey by now! I’m sure they were so many you can’t even remember! This one is the last one you married. She is a nurse who lived for a longtime in the UK.

  9. Where are the couple parents of this (latter) couple, KK everywhere; you’re abusing the old man – just because he is KK. Just observed.

  10. I was equally wondering as to where the Parents of the latter couple are; and also the Parents to Kayombo’s wife, does this mean the rich boyz have over shadowed the parents of the poor girls they are marrying. Just asking…

  11. Zambia’s aristocratic families.
Aristocracy – a class of people holding PRIVILEGED rank or position in society by birth, wealth, education or social prestige.
