United Party for National Development (UPND) Spokesperson Charles Kakoma has advised PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya to stop trivializing and trying to explain assaults against citizens that were injured on youth day, reports Pan African radio Journalist Hermit Hachilonde.

Mr. Kakoma warned the Patriotic Front to stop claiming that the images and videos circulating on social media are false because the stripping of a woman naked was done in full view of the police by suspected brutal PF cadres.

The UPND Spokesperson said Frank Bwalya and entire PF leadership must only ensure that they help in the healing process of these severely traumatized Zambian youth not trying to deny the well-known issue that have many witnesses.

He has however stated that the UPND is only interested to see justice prevailing on the matter at hand, adding that shifting the blame elsewhere will not help the PF because the UPND and well meaningful zambian people shall will not entertained any mediocrity regarding the matter.

Mr. Kakoma added that suggestion by Frank Bwalya that the victims feigned their injuries and the UPND is circulating false images is a clear indication that the entire PF leadership is heartless and he termed the purported insinuation by Frank Bwalya as an insult to the victims.

He noted if PF cared for every citizen its leadership would have shown compassion for the victims by immediately visiting them in clinics and hospitals where they have been receiving counseling, treatment and care under very difficult conditions.

“Frank Bwalya and his PF leadership have in their desperation increasingly become agents of lies and authors of hate speech they must apologize to the victims because it is this divisive and hate-filled behaviour that is in many ways responsible for the ugly scenes we have witnessed and the like of which we have not seen before in Zambia” said Charles Kakoma

Meanwhile when contacted for a comment via telephone interview, PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya said he only referred to a certain picture of girl reported to have been badly injured with a lot of blood on her face on social media.

He maintained that the picture was manufactured by the UPND with a motive to tarnish the image of President Edgar Lungu’s Government.

Cue in the video of a stripped woman

And Frank Bwalya expressed ignorance of having watched the video of a woman stripped necked saying has no access to the clip.

Here is the video which the PF Deputy spokesperson did not see.

  1. FB is just a parasite. Unfortunately he represents PF and their leadership in entirety. That is the caliber of leaders we have in GRZ. Leaders who see fit to be represented by this lying parasitic ex priest. That is why Zambia is doomed under PF.

    • Amazingly, Lungu is so quiet like nothing happened. He has given no instructions for his Police Force (PF) to pursue the perpetrators. Instead, the PFools are busy denying that people got injured. What a govt!
      #ChagwaMustFall

    • That video is heartbreaking. I find it very disturbing that a priest, Fr. Frank Bwalya, does not see anything wrong with this, and tries to defend the perpetrators of this insanely barbaric act.

    • Am not going to watch the video.
Fr. Bwalya should NOT, what he finds out the woman is Mumbi Phiri? Moreover he is man of God to watch boobs.

    • This should not be happening in Zambia. Really, guys, what is happening that side? I cant believe this is really happening in Zambia!!!

    • What’s heartbreaking about this video. The woman is sitting down, but no one is hitting her, where is the beginning? The really disturbing comments from UPND commentators shows how they are unable to accept they are big contributors to Cadre violence. ‘It’s PF is violent, look at this video.’

It’s just childish propaganda using the unfortunate incident of the UPND Cadre. How are they bake to overlook the fact GBM is under investigation fir a far worse violence like Militia? We have a problem here.

  2. UPND OPENED THE PROCESS TWO (2) AGO BUT SURPRISINGLY UP TO NOW THEY CANT FIND CREDIBLE CANDIDATES. IN TOTAL IT WILL TAKE THEM 4 MONTHS TO FIND CANDIDATES. TELL M’MEMBE TO PUT THE HEADLINE THAT YOU HAVE EXTENDED. YOU THOUGHT PF CANDIDATES WILL JUMP FOR YOU BUT PIPO KNOW VERY WELL THAT YOU NOT GOING ANY WHERE. THEY WONT COME, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.

    • @Indigo Yondo: Stick to the topic above. PF has extended the submission dates as well. Let us all strongly condemn the violence which is getting out of control. What is sad though, is that all this happened in the presence of our Zambia Police and up to now no one has been arrested. If the lady who was undressed was a PF cadre, arrests would have been made right there and then. My wish is to see the IG and indeed all Police Officers apply the law in a NON-PARTISAN manner, only then will political violence minimise/ end.

  3. What do you expect from a man who was poured chibuku from the same people his is supporting today. Maybe his is still intoxicated. Zambia a Christian country, my foot.

    • As usual, PF in their stupidity will tell you that Guy Scot and Kaseba were not adding any value to PF and that their PF is growing in numbers every day when the fact of their dwindling numbers is glaring right in front of their eyes.

  4. If such scenarios are taking place before campaigns and subsequent elections begin, where are we heading to? Unless security agents step in beforehand and quell the situation, there may be no light at the end of the tunnel.

  5. Don’t act as a saint KAKOMA. You chaps have failed to denounce political violence perpetrated by your goons. In the first place, if I were president I would ban party regalia at public functions. I am comfortable if you guys just abstain from the gathering and celebrations. The last time I checked we had no such issues. The President or any government official addressing the public on such important gatherings SHOULD not raise party symbols. Now guys, come on guys, be civil. Get a life. HH’s UPND is a total sham!! I haven’t head HH denounce violence unconditionally. This is what I do not want…
The situation where people like HH set mother Zambia on fire and run to SA in the comfort of their SA house watching the bloodshed in Zambia on their Samsung curve.

  6. Akatanshi takalisha, charles kakoma, you have forgotten how you trivialized the monze and Inonge’s family attacks!!In addition ,your united party for national destruction came up with mapatizya formula.you are the mothers and fathers of violence.and we have never heard you, strongly denouncing violet when it is done by regional party.VIVA Ben Kapita work hard and destroy this regionalism, we are fed up with a party drawing its support based on cimbuyaship, this is what goes on in this party.Let’s not support candidates on cimbuyaship like they do in united party for national destruction.

    • Show us the pictures or videos of those scenes you are referring to. You PF liers, like devils children since the devil is a lier. Lied to the people of Zambia in 2011 and you are still lying now for 2016, it wont work.

  7. HH’s UPND is a total sham! I will see him for what he is. Is it not a fact that he is responsible for the closure of both UNZA and CBU. Do you actually want to make this country ungovernable for the current president? I mean your money can be put to good use. Sorry if you’re just being dragged in the mud by the government. Forget I said all this. But on the second thought, I see you HH as a very bitter man. Now causing unrest makes you a very irresponsible person. You and your fellaz and supporters. We only have one Zambia, not two. Iwe Kakoma, was GBM framed or the chap was actually training those youths into ruthless killers. You chaps want to give birth to a Rebel group. My children need a better Zambia; not one with bloodshed. It is not a must that whatever it takes one ought…

  8. It is not a must that whatever it takes one ought to be president. It is God given through the BALLOT. We are watching your steps on a moral viewpoint side. Spillage of any blood from PF, UPND, Green, FDD, ABCD parties or what have you is not allowed. You chaps are Zambians. It makes you bad and weak not brave or powerful if you engage in political violence. When that blood is shed we do not see UPND hemoglobin or UPND red blood cells, we just see blood. How come only UPND guys get beat; and always the beater is PF. Are you playing Victim? We demand good political morals in this ordeal. I hate politics but I will teach you good politics. Where is the Civil Rights Movement or Civil Society and the Church in this mess. Folding your hands and waiting for the results?

    • After all the nonsense comments you made above, now you have come to your good senses and made this good and intelligent comment. Thumbs up!!!

    • @Thorn in the flesh: You sound so bitter and upset with HH, whatever personnal differences between you and HH, stay calm my man. You have just said God will choose a leader for Zambia through the ballot, so why worry yourself – leave everything to God.
I agree with you on the issue of cadres wearing Party regalia at Public functions – yes it must be banned, because it is one of the sources of conflicts.
I do not agree with you on the UNZA and CBU riots, blame the Minister who did not pay the students on time. I was once a student at UNZA, I know what I’m talking about. Students are intelligent enough to be duped by politicians.

    • Are you Hurting and touched because your l reprimanded your King. Let him denounce violence unconditionally. I hate HH’s UPND, I loath it because of violence. I was a fun UPND under Kambela, mwana mulume. The man was sober. I will only restore HH to a honorable class if he stops being ridiculous. I hate haters. I hate bitter pills. I reprimand those I love. I call a spade, a spade; not a garden folk for the sake of impression.
If you don’t like it, well then go hang and leave my posts alone.

  9. Because of this video and to prevent Lungu’s militia taking hold, I today renounce my membership of PF and officially join and will vote UPND.

  10. Whilst it’s clear that the language used in this video to humiliate, rape and assault this child of North Western Rhodesia, i appeal to the better of our peoples conscience that we are working with colleagues from North Eastern Rhodesia to built a Zambia we shall all be proud of to belong!

  11. UPND are myopic late last year a suspected PF woman in Mazabuka was undressed by its cadres and Gary Nkombo UPND MP for Mazabuka supported and justified the act as was widely covered in the daily media including their new found friends the Post but Mr Kakoma was mute including Mrs Suzanne Matale from CCZ. The point is when something is wrong it’s wrong but UPND lacks principles…

    • But where is the principle in PF if they are acting in the same way as the UPND regarding the stripping of these girls?
Poor little Zambian men, with their infiriority complexes, taking it on women. Real men don’t beat girls……

  12. Spokesperson to spokesperson !! The Face Off. I love an election, it’s perfect Human Drama, laying open on the stage, the underbelly of Human Ambition!

Violence is wrong. PF and UPND Cadres could benefit from Public Relations coaching!

    • @Patriot on keyboard.

Firstly you on right track for not.glorifying violence as perhaps Kudos and other PF coribants have or will.

Secondly, it’s a shame.that the President has chosen to be mute by malice, as we say in law.

  13. @thorn in the flesh, if the lady in the picture was your sister would you still b capable of such triviality.
Mr kangaja will be subpoenaed in future over this issue, trust me.

  14. Just a small correction to Mr Kakoma Frank Bwalya is not a father, he a failed priest and he has no shred of truth in him. How can he deny that he has not seen the video when when it has been all over social media. Anyway, he lies just like his father the devil. He failed from priest hood because of sodomising poor helpless boys, now he is abusing whisky and dagga. The PF would have gained some credibility if they were brave enough to say sorry to the victims of their violence.

  15. ”Father” Bwalya,Davies Chama,Mumbi Phiri and Chishimba Kambwili are the planners and organizers of the violence against the UPND.These PF cowards will continue the evil acts,so the UPND leaders and cadres should defend themselves when attacked; Lungu and Zambia police cannot be trusted to stop the violence.

  16. PF government traumatising Zambians under Edgar Lungu’s watch. Late president Sata would not even allowed this immoral acts of PF cadres and foolish police watching helplessly. Frank Bwalya was no where near Sata, was ejected out of PF sight under Sata and today is spokesperson of PF perpetuating evil of PF government. All days are not sunday, monday is next.

  17. The really disturbing comments from UPND commentators shows how they are unable to accept they are big contributors to Cadre violence. ‘It’s PF is violent, look at this video.’

  18. Patriot Abroad be brave and accept that PF is wrong. It was a PF carder during youth day who striped and almost raped this UPND woman in full view of police.

  19. Violence breeds violence lets not support it regardless which part you belong to dont forget about Rwanda that were we are heading it all started like this the same clergy were using the church to promote tribalism. Dont forget that we have 73 tribes not northern eastern and southern provinces.

  20. Am just amazed at how PF still has supporters…..yooooo!!! Its true that blindness goes beyond losing eye sight.
