Zanaco skin Leopards to go third

Zanaco on Sunday climbed into third place on the FAZ Super Division table after thumping Nakambala Leopards 2-0 in a Week 9 match at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.

Striker Fashion Sakala and winger Rodrick Kabwe were the scorers in this delayed Week 9 match.

Sakala put the Bankers ahead after 17 minutes while, Kabwe’s goal came in the 62nd minute.

Zanaco now sit on 15 point after playing 5 games and are four points behind leaders Nkana, who have played 8 games.

In the earlier match at the same venue, Lusaka Dynamos and Mufulira Wanderers played out to a 1-1 draw in the lunch-time match.

After a goalless first half, Dynamos grabbed a 72nd minute lead via Webster Muzaza’s goal that was cancelled by Mighty’s Michael Katongo four minutes later.
