Midfielder Mathieu Dossevi of Belgium club Standard Liege scored the lone goal in the 20th minute.
Zambia have now travelled to Gambia to play their last friendly on May 30.
They will alter proceed to Bissau to face Guinea Bissau in a Group E qualifier on June 4.
