George Lwandamina says Zesco United are ready for Wydad Casablanca in Wednesday nights 2016 CAF Champions League Group A match in Rabat.

Leaders Zesco and second placed Wydad clash for supremacy tied on 3 points heading into their second Group A match.

Lwandamina said he had great respect for Wydad and all that was remaining was to get down to the business of the Champions League tonight.

“We have been training and we have done our homework and I am sure the 90 minutes will be able to tell a story,” Lwandamina said.

“I cannot say anything about a result but lets see what the 90 minutes will bring.”

Meanwhile, ASEC Mimosa confined eight-time champions Al Ahly to their second successive Group A defeat and bottom of the table on zero points from two matches after a 2-1 win away in Cairo on Tuesday.

Third placed ASEC, who lost 1-0 at home in Cote d’Ivoire against Wydad on June 18, are Zesco’s next opponents on July 16 in Ndola.
