Immediate past opposition UPND Kalomo Member of Parliament Request Muntanga has died.
Mr Muntanga died at University Teaching Hospital this afternoon.
UTH management and Health Deputy Minister Chitalu Chilufya confirmed the death of Mr Muntanga.
The former lawmaker suffered a stroke and was hospitalised for close to two months.
May his soul rest in peace.. HH and UPND leadership has a hand in this. Go well son of the soil.
