Fwayo gets Power Dynamos bench praises

Striker Fwayo Tembo’s signing is paying off, the Power Dynamso bench has declared.

Fwayo arrived at Power in April as a free agent after a ten year career overseas with stints in Tunisia, Switzerland and Romania.

The 27-year-old Zambia striker last weekend scored a brace to inspire Power to their first away win in the FAZ Super Division this season.

His goals saw him replace Martin Phiri as Power’s top scorer this season on six and five goals respectively.

“Fwayo’s arrival has brought a lot of experience in attack he is almost there in terms of fitness he is helping the team and scoring goals,” Power assistant coach Anderson Phiri said.

“With six goals so far, it is a plus for Power Dynamos.”

Fwayo will have a chance to add to his tally this weekend when Power host Nchanga Rangers in a Week 19 game seeking revenge over the Chingola side.

Nchanga were the first team to beat Power this season following a 2-1 home win on March 26 at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola.
