UPND Continues Tour of Southern Province
This past week the campaign trail has taken us from Luapula, to Central, Lusaka and then Southern Province. During our travels we have seen every day just how much more there is that unites than divides us as a nation.
Our people are facing the same challenges, from increased food prices, load shedding, joblessness, difficulty in accessing healthcare and the challenge of keeping children in school even when the economy bites.
The UPND’s 10 Point Plan will fix these problems. If Zambians place their confidence in us then we will work tirelessly from the day we are elected to make sure our people are supported in their work and have better access to fundamentals such as education and water and sanitation.
We have an ambitious vision for our country because we recognise its vast potential, from the huge natural resources and beautiful landscapes to our greatest asset – the Zambian people.
As our party grows in size we continue to invite more and more people to join us because we know that together we are stronger. Today we appealed to the people of Pemba, Sinazongwe and Choma to unite with us in our desire for change so we can move Zambia forward come 11th August 2016.

Why are you failing to forgive GBM, if his wife has forgiven him? Should we still be singing that ECL stole money from a client when he was practicing law at Andrea Masiye & Co.? These crowds are impressive. HH, GBM &UPND are attracting huge crowds across the country which means the majority of Zambians want a change of govt. That new govt should be led by HH, GBM & Team UPND. To ensure victory we should all go and vote in huge numbers and put Lungu and his PF to shame. The second priority is to secure our votes and make them count. Lungu is now relying on rigging these elections at all costs so we must stop him dead in his rigging tracks. The good thing is we know all his rigging plans. One thing which is worrying is the Final Electronic Voters Register. Where is it? When and why is ECZ delaying its release? If Sinazongwe votes UPND, then bottom road should be the last infrastructure development they should see under PF.
Eastern, Luapula, Northen, Muchinga, Lusaka, Copperbelt, Central Provinces, you have now believed when we tell you that these T0ngas vote on tribal lines regardless of what one does for them, so if you want to preserve you identity please also vote on tribal lines and give President Lungu the 68%. These tribalists have no shame, why would you then vote for them when its clear that they dont respect other tribes?
Wake early and go in masses to to vote for President Lungu if you want to see development continue in you areas. HH is tribal and will never ever develop you Provinces, so let everyone know this. When Sata moved the HQ to Choma and created Muchinga Province and started putting up infrastructure befitting provincial status you went to NW to say “the province was poor bcoz all money from there was being taken to Muchinga and you would stop that when elected!” When Sata & his PF were doing more projects in Southern Province(Dip tanks,Vet labs,roads,New Prov.HQ at Choma) your people refused to see that and in by-election rejected PF by 95% voting for you? The only unit I see in UPND especially now is that of personal interests and common hatred against Lungu rather than a common agreement to do things differently! Only those lacking…

If only crowds could vote, online pictures and all, UPND would have been in power by now. suffice to say, they have improved, as a rebrand. To remove a sitting resident, it takes more than regional politics.
Zambia is undergoing a bad patch economically, and shouuld PF pull through, UPND may never rule with tonga at the helm..as it may never be as bad as it seems today.

The tribal tag is more prominent in the PF. See their leadership in Monze and Livingstone, who are they? Do we have UPND provincial chairmen in non Tongalands called Hachanda, Habwalya, Halungu? Check the facts. UPND is quite universal and every tribe is given chance to lead. And by the way, if PF was not regional why did they not vote for UPND in 2015? Also, isn’t it because they are tribal that for Aug elections they didn’t float any Lunda or Lozi candidates in Mansa and Chipata, or have they? The example you are giving on Livingstone about constituency officials is not valid because they are position gotten on how much one contributes in building the party at grass roots. Are you telling us MP candidate Omar Munsanje is an Easterner or Bemba Speaker? What about outgoing MP Laurence Evans? You want them to adopt Lunda or Lozi candidates in area where they are not very well known to the masses so that PF can lose those seats just to prove an already known point that PF is not but some other party is? Just look: Lungu won over GBM,Sampa to take over PF and later on Inonge Wina (Lozi) is running mate to Lungu and that is what has led Sampa and GBM to UPND. Continued….

Luapula,Northern,Muchinga,CB voted for Lungu in the by-election bacause they had seen some fulfillment of campaign promises and also on the basis of allowing PF to complete their term. Southern,Western despite so much development PF had taken there they chose to elect someone who was merely making a promise at the expense of a government that brought development to their areas.
