SONTA..President Lungu at the Rally in Mumbwa on Sunday
President Lungu has warned teachers and police officers who are being duped by the opposition that there will be a change of government after the elections that they will be dealt with for taking a partisan stance.

Mr Lungu has asked teachers in Chingola who he said are being misled by the UPND to resign from their positions and join the opposition.

The head of state was speaking when he addressed a huge public rally at kabundi high school in Chingola this afternoon.

He said government has all the details and particulars of individual teachers and police officers sympathizing with the opposition.

Mr Lungu has assured the electorate in Chingola that they will be no change of government because the ruling PF is enjoying support from all parts of the country.

And Mr Lungu has advised people not to listen to cheap lies by the opposition that they will reopen mines which are under care and maintenance.

He said Anglo American Corporation has closed mines world over and it is not true that they will reopen operations in Zambia when copper prices have dropped.

Mr Lungu disclosed that the mines that have been shut will resume normal operations once the price of copper rebounds.

  3. What if he loses the elections, how is he going to deal with those teachers and police? The problem with our president is that, every time he is outside the walls of Church, his messages are full of threats. A humble man should not always resort to threats.

  4. MY PRESIDENT,THREATS AT THIS HOUR WILL MAKE THE “REBELS” WORK EXTRA HARD FOR THE OPPOSITION TO WIN.THE PRICE OF COPPER IS NOT THAT BAD.THE PROBLEM IS INVESTOR CONFIDENCE & THAT IS WHAT THE OPPOSITION IS “PREACHING” ON THE COPPER BELT.SO TELL THE PEOPLE WHAT DIFFERENT YOU ARE GOING TO DO.

  6. Lungu defies logic. The threat to Teachers, police officers, civil servants, teachers, nurses and workers in the public sector is a campaign for the Opposition. Is Lungu 100% sure that he will still be President on 12th August? Are his Rigging Plans fullproof? Lungu still does not get it. Whoever is elected President of Zambia on August 11th becomes President for all Zambians including those who did not vote for him or did not vote at all. Its unpresidential to threaten teachers and Police Officers with retribution for exercising their voting rights. Civil Servants and public sector workers have constitutional rights to vote for a Presidential candidate of their choice. It shows that it was a mistake or an accident to elect Lungu as President of Zambia becoz he does not understand the role…

  9. It was courage that made David to stand in front of the enormously huge Goliath and look into his eyes and confessed defeat, although there was no physical indication of it.If Jesus is your Lord and saviour, come down, the ball is in His hand. Wait and see how the evil one is defeated. No rerun in this third and last phase of our petition. Mark my word, God has already given us a president. Just follow your heart in voting, the rest God has already done. Amen.

  11. Ushering threats and intimidating people gets us no where. If they think you are a foo.l, then just pack up and leave. Voting gives people an opportunity to pick whom they want as a leader. When you run away from political debates, economic issues, you are a drunk, take innocent lives, unleash brutality etc. is why people don’t want you. To say we have names just tells the nation how small and shallow a brain and in between you legs really is. Just disappear into oblivion. This is not leadership but pure dictatorship. They once claimed the hour has come! Now its: “Your time has come.” Just close that Statehouse door and don’t let it hit you from behind.

  12. What Spirit has possessed our beloved President. He is supposed to be a president for the whole of Zambia. Zambia is not only the land that is marked by its borders, but also and mainly the people that inhabit it. I feel Sorry for the people of Zambia after 11th August 2016 should Edgar win and continues on this trajectory. We need to pray for our country and our leaders so that the Lord can pluck out this spirit of division and annihilation. We are all Zambians and we all need to feel free in our own country. Thats my prayer. LORD HEAR US, WE BESEECH THEE. AMEN.

  15. Why has the President allowed DCs and Emmual Mwamba to openly campaign for the PF. This man I am now 100% is not very normal when he is speaking. God save this nation give us someone who will learn that taking people for granted is not good. How come he is so sure that he has won the elections. If RB had ban ZNBC, Times of Zambia and Daily Mail from covering Late Sata would he have won. This is the most useless President I have come across, he is scared of the stealing and deals that that he has been doing.

Putting on a Brave face, & drinking so much Whisky, you now get “Dutch courage” to threaten civil servants, who are suffering due to your inept hopeless corrupt leadership.
Citizens, just wait, for days after the 11th August 2016, when reality sinks in, chagwa is @ serious risk of drinking himself to mortal oblivion. Watch this space Zedians!!

  22. What an ignorant loser of a President. It is only when you officially declare to contest political positions that you resign from government. Everyone has a right to vote for whoever they want. You don’t threaten people so they vote for you in fear. That IS RIGGING! This man is desperate and dangerous. He alone, with his retrogressive threatening proclamations, will be responsible for any flare ups or trouble. He is rubbing two stones together to light a fire where there is no need to. I sincerely hope most Zambians can see through his machinations this time and kick him out through the ballot. There is no room more ‘Mugabes’ and ‘MU7s’ left.

I shake off every mendacity, lying, calculated deception, gang and cyber warfare, incantation, oppression, wickedness, abuse and violence. I terminate forever, every evil agreement, plan and cabal amongst HH’s opponents and the heavenlies. I retrench and frustrate forever every satanic priest ministering enchantment into the sun, the moon, and the star against HH. Lord, bless HH, and cause Your face to shine upon him and let HH be known and favoured in each household and those that are voting across the length and breadth of this land of Zambia. Father favour HH with triumph over his opponents. In Your favor, Lord, make his…

  25. Forcing an EYE to be blind and functional at the same time. When looking at civil servant who are in full throttle openly campaigning for the PF, the EYE should be blind. When the same civil servant take a different course and side with the opposition party, the same EYE is expected to be functional! Mind you, its just a group of you against the masses. Humble yourselves and maybe, only maybe the masses might consider some votes for you. No insult in my text just pure n omniscient wisdom. Peace by brothers n sisters
