“I have never seen PF President Edgar Lungu and UPND President Hakainde Hichilema fighting. So I don’t see why their supporters should fight.
I’m interested in talking to the youth from both parties because many of them are my fans too, and I see them at my shows.
I chose NOT to endorse or campaign for any political candidate coz I endorsed PEACE and my vote is my secret. I know that my fans have their own preferences and freewill, so I let them decide for themselves without influencing their choices. I don’t do political rallies, I do peace rallies because my fans are in various political parties and I respect their choice. I can only encourage them to exercise their democratic right to vote. While educating my fans about peace, the bill of rights and the electoral process during BBC Media Action’s “ishiwi” road show in Kabwe, I noticed that some of my fans were dressed in UPND and PF campaign regalia. While on stage, I invited them to join me in pledging to be peaceful towards each other. I asked them to hold hands, say “One Zambia One Nation” and promise the nation that THERE WILL BE NO MORE POLITICAL VIOLENCE because we are one people. This is the attitude we need. I believe that Zambia is more important than any political party. After all political parties come and go but Zambia remains for all Zambians. Let us all contribute to the preservation of peace in our country.
RED and GREEN can make WATER MELON which you can actually eat TOGETHER as one. One Zambia One Nation. ?#?music4change?“
