BRANDING Constitutional Court Judges thugs and criminals by Hakainde Hichilema is the gravest assault on the Judiciary and the UPND leader should know that his conduct towards the Zambian courts is injudicious and not acceptable, Brebner Changala has charged.

And Mr Changala has said Zambian Judges should be protected from political hooligans whom he said were on the loose and on rampage of violating the sanctity of the country’s judicial system.

Mr Changala has demanded that sanctions should be taken against Mr Hichilema for his disrespect and insolence against the Judiciary which is one of the critical institutions of governance in the country.

Mr Changala, who is civil rights activist, said Mr Hichilema should be made to account for his insults against the Judges because such kind of conduct had the potential to destroy the Judiciary without which the governance of the country would be threatened.

He said Mr Hichilema was not the first neither was he the last to have lost elections and that his bitterness over the electoral defeat he suffered at the hands of President Edgar Lungu should not be extended to the Judges who presided over his failed petition to nullify the re-election of the Head of State.

Mr Changala stated that Mr Hichilema’s assault on the Judiciary which was a critical part of the governance system, and demeaning Judges to the level of reducing them to criminals should never be condoned and the UPND leader should, therefore, be condemned in the strongest terms for his unbecoming behaviour.

Mr Changala explained that Zambians had made the right decision to reject Mr Hichilema because the UPND leader was going to destroy the Judiciary had he taken over the leadership of the country.

“Destroying the Judiciary is killing the umpire of justice. Zambians must strongly condemn Mr Hichilema for insulting the Constitutional Court Judges. Zambia is bigger than individual political parties and Mr Hichilema. I am asking that there should be sanctions against the UPND leader so that we can preserve our three arms of government. Mr Hichilema must be reminded that as a man aspiring to take over the leadership of the country, he will not be able to govern if he is going to inherit a nation with a destroyed judicial system,” Mr Changala said.

Mr Changala said the phenomenon of wanting to win an election and get State power at all costs had completely blinded Mr Hichilema who he said had been of the belief that he had won the general elections and had powers to abuse institutions of governance.

He said the UPND leader had no proof whatsoever that the Constitutional Court Judges had been paid by President Lungu to lapse his petition neither did he have evidence that the Judges were nothing but a bunch of criminals.

“Ironically, Mr Hichilema is still going to the courts and will be appearing before the same Judges he has branded thugs and criminals. What sense is he making out of his attacks? How does he insist to continue appearing before the same Judges he is abusing with impunity?” Mr Changala wondered.

    • hichilema believes he is above the law. he is the criminal that swindled the zambian people and dubiously took over upnd and hang on to power without a convention. he is welcome to leave zambia because he doesn’t respect our institutions; the law enforcement, judicial and presidency all of which he has repeatedly insulted.

    • Yes, those Judges are thugs and criminals. In fact, thug is defined as violent criminal. Thats what we witnessed from PF and the Judges. Dont blame HH, the Judges destroyed their own reputation and the entire Zambian justice system.

Don’t mind this loser called HH. He amounts to nothing at the end of the day. He has not only shown his fooly in the eyes of the might Zambian law, he has gone heights undermining the noble works of the ECZ. I guess half of the people who voted for him have already regretted giving him that vote except for his die hard, HHmaniacs. HH’s UPND is a total sham, a disgrace to Zambia’s maturing democracy. He has really made a fo.ol if his ugly self. Extremely embarrassing situation.

    • CHANGALA YOU ARE VERY STUPIID. ARE YOU THE ONLY JEW WHO DOESN’T KNOW HOW COORUPT AND ROTTEN THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM IN ZAMBIA IS? LOVE FOR MONEY IS WHAT HAS EATEN UP THE ZAMBIAN SOCIETY, MAINLY BECAUSE A LOT OF CONGOLESE AND OTHER FOREIGNERS IN SURROUNDING COUNTRIES HAVE BEEN CORRUPTLY GIVEN CITIZENSHIP IN ZAMBIA, AND HAVE BROUGHT IN THIS UGLY CULTURE OF CORRUPTION AND BRIBES, WHICH MANY PEOPLE WITH WEAK HEARTS LIKE EDGAR LUNGU AND FRANK BWALYA HAVE FALLEN PREY FOR. JUDICIARY IN ZAMBIA IS ROTTEN. LUNGU SPENT A LOT OF OUR MONEY TO BRIBE ALL JUDGES WHO WERE HANDLING THE PRESIDENTIAL PETITION UP TO IREEN MAMBILIMA. LUNGU AND FRANK HAVE MADE ZAMBIA MORE ROTTEN AND SERIOUSLY DECAYING. LUNGU IS A CROOK AND A THIEF!

    • Its rhetoric of Mr Changala to have muted when crooked PF thuggish cadres intimidated and threatened Con’Court judges. PF bandits like always with their vampirism of violence, even had the audacity to camped out at the High Court for a BBQ intolerable intoxication. Public nuisance is a felony! But Changala was mute when PF bandits disregards the rule of law, only rhetorically churning from the stomach.

    • Chabala is definitely right – 100%.
HH has gone to far in showing his lack of integrity and selfishness coupled with extreme arrogance.

You cannon call judges thugs and criminals on account of not ruling in your favour.

This is utterly uncalled for and unacceotable. You cannot insult the judges merely on account of falsehood and lies, when you even avoid discussing your own petition due to lack of evidence, and in fact due to lack of a case.

    • Judges have destroyed themselves. I have never seen such stoopidity from the courts. In future if you have an argument with somebody, just physically fight it out with guns, pangas, or stones. There’s no justice in Zambia. Lowyers and judges have ruined the Zambian justice system.

  2. UPND needs to be sober and do a self reflection. There must be a very very strong reason why ALL the major NGOs including the churches, who are certified critics of the PF have not entered or joined their fight.

Surely, you can’t say they were all bought by PF. I don’t think the Grand-coalition of father Chiti or the so called council of Elders, with big Lungu critics like Simom Zukas and the churches, have all been paid huge money.

And neither has the international community or donors joined UPND fight. You say that they also have been paid huge money.

UPND needs a thorough and honest self assessment than just insult us all. There is a very clear silent message on the wall that UPND leaders need to read. Their stolen votes claim is just not resonating with anyone and…

    • The petition failed because upnd didn’t have evidence at all. If they did have evidence I repeat they could have presented it on day 10 of the petition instead of wasting our time and that of the court. HH is a crook and he has succeeded in conning all his supporters that he wasn’t given an opportunity to present his evidence. How pathetic and desperate he is for power.

  3. Kwena this what they call Kalusa. After losing at the 8/11 election, he goes on to lose the prtition and all the preliminary issues, loses all the motions in the high court, and goes on to lose in the supreme court. And all cases he lost due to childishness, frivolity, lack of merit, misconceived at law. And this guy had top lawyers. I hope by now he has learnt the importance of assessing the merits of what you are fighting for before you engage lawyers, they are only humans to guide you someway but the fight is yours. Now just imagine with top lawyers on his side (Sangwa Simeza) he ends up with misconcieved suits in court!

    • HH should have stated at the beginning of the petition how many days he wanted to have the case heard seeing that the 14 days given in the Constitution was not enough to even call Maureen or Belinda or Martha to the stand. He should have said on the 20th of Aug that please judges amend the Constitution for me so that I close my case on 30th Sept.

He should have given the powers that be all the rope they needed to hang themselves. He failed to call a single witness in the time allocated now he is crying that the judges interpreted the Constitution to the letter.

  8. Fortunately for him he quicly withdrew the last one before the Concourt judge Mugeni Mulenga. I thought that was the ultimate in HH stuopidity. Surely thiscaspiring president aka Kalusa should have known that when the Concourt threw out his petition, the status quo.reverted, which is that it was as if mo petition had taken.place, and therefore the only thing remaining legally is that the president elect had been declared by ECZ. Does Kalusa need a lawyer to interpret that for him? I am left wondering what sort of businessman HH is, all the renowned successful businessmen that I know or read about are savvy in their understanding of both the law and politics. Kalusa is an amateur in comparison and now I wonder whether HH is as rich as they make him to be. One thing that I have learnt for…

  9. Actually calling the Kang-Court judges thugs & criminals is an understatement. They are a disgrace to Zambian Judiciary & to all Zambians. 30 pieces of silver (K13Million) won’t last even 2 years, becoz IMF-induced inflation will come & eat it away. They can’t quickly build mansions, do serious shopping becoz pipo will point & say “thats dirty money”. Any change of Govt will end their careers.

  10. There is no rule of law in Zambia anymore. Hooliganism was started by ECL himself. He has no respect for rule of law. He has no respect for the will of people in an election. Today he is being inaugurated because he stole votes. If sanity has to materialise it has to start by resolving the theft of votes by PF. The problem is people talk as if they are talking to children. The chief law breaker is Lungu himself. Today as he is being inaugurated, the Zambia democracy is being buried. We are now going the Zimbabwe, Uganda way. Injustice at play, we are yet to see more rubbish from PF government.

  11. UPND is very bitter with the loss as if they are the only ones who contested.Look at the maturity exhibited by Nawakwi,Chishimba,Sinkamba,Kabimba and others ! There is no injustice against anybody. The tribal tag which is the trade mark for Southern is the reason other regions rejected him too.

It is a cancer which requires immediate attention.Imagine even some senior gvt officers appointed by Lungu have the audacity to decampaign and bite the finger feeding them.We need to change our mind set and embrace the one Zambia one Nation motto.

  12. The Bamba tribe was historically a plunder tribe. They would wait for other surrounding tribes like Ushis, Mambwes etc. to farm & attack them shortly after harvest, targeting the Grain Storage huts.

Fast forward 200 years, unfortunately this trait hasn’t changed. With bambas walking in the corridors of power, it’s all about self-enrichment in the form of Govt jobs & contracts. The worst part is that the population of bambas has grown 10-fold due to thriving on the Copperbelt. Democracy now favours them & this trend will be Zambia’s curse especially that millions of bambas moved from Copperbelt to Lusaka when FTJ ruled. Just go to cairo rd or intercity, unruly bambas has taken over.

They are vocal (yet not intelligent or productive). Nya-njas have jumped on the bandwagon.

    • Is President Lungu Bemba? is her honour the Veep Bemba? Your bitterness over Bembas is misplaced. Are you scared of the Ngonis or Nsengas as the case maybe and the Lozis? They are the ones holding the two top jobs in Zambia. If Bembas were tribal, they would have voted for HH/GBM since GBM is Bemba and an automatic successor of HH in case of anything.

    • @16 Maloza, that description fits HH the privatization thief, who always refuses to participate in things but wants benefits thereof! Fought the new constitution but wants the clauses therein to work for him even if facts are against his wish, wants the Constitutional Court to favor him by breaking fundamental laws. Fought the Bill of Rights in referendum but wants his fundamental rights to be respected! So far the only Bemba who fits the describes and is akin to HH is GBM that is why he joined him as a Deputy with out much a do! He abused his position in government to give himself contracts! He wanted that to continue but Lungu said NO only in UPND where leaders help themselves with state assets! And BEAR in MIND THOSE INSULTS AGAINST BEMBA SPEAKERS will be REPAID in BALLOTS one or another!

  14. @10 Kelvin, if you were taught by freaks like Muna Ndulo Hansungule or such like names, I suggest that you go back to law school or change careers. THE PRESIDENT DOES NOT STEP DOWN FOR THE SPEAKER ON THE INITIAL BALLOT BUT IN A RERUN. The constitution is clear on that. The logic is simple. Professor Mvunga argued it legally at start of petition. I have also said it before and will repeat for you: imagine a presidential candidate lises an election and he even comes out number seven. He takes a petition and out goes the president of the country? Where on earth? No sir, but I do understand that when you “see” things from UPND black (not dark) glasses, you cannot see the sanctity of the President and other sanctified institutions of state. If you cannot understand simple things like this…

    • @terrible, please do not display your dullness so obviously in public or people will take you as a complete joke.

Look, suppose your HH won the election and Andyford Banda lodged the petition what would have happened? Would you have demanded for HH to step down? From where?

The incumbent, ECL, would have continued and your HH’s inauguration would have been delayed until the petition was dealt with (in whichever way)…

Exactly what happened in the current scenario…

  16. Contd…
If you cannot understand simple things like this then no wonder your HH is a serial loser and will remain so forever.
The whole purpose of HH petition was to embarrass Edgar Lungu and make him “equal” to him. What he did not know and Jack Mwiimbu “failed” to advise HH, is that the office of President is sanctified. It is the only office that Zambians and others elesewhere in the world have given more rights and respect than they have themselves. And for a very good reason which UPND myst begin to understandbifbthey think of ruling this country.

He tribally insulted the ECZ Chairperson as an easterner, but chose to insult the “bemba” judges as thugs and criminals without referring to their tribe.l because GBM was seated next to him. But it is the same thing as you what you describe that bembas are naturally thieves, HH just fell short of calling them bemba monkeys in a maize field as he had done in previous elections. Wait until GBM bails out of UPND then you can hear openly again their description of bembas.

Even jesus called false religious leaders hypocrites and vipers for misleading innocent people. Call a spade a spade. This generation of Zambians is full of cowards. Lungu and his thugs have stolen the election and raped the constitution and that’s ok to you. Closing down independent media and arresting the opposition for nothing and it’s still OK. In 2014, your Chief Chitimukulu Henry Chanda Sosala wrote:- “It is of vital importance to understand how various societies came under colonial rule and the actions and reactions of both the European empire-builders and the tribal societies regarding the intrusion. As for Bemba language at bus stops most of these are not even Bemba but have just opted to use it as an easy way of communication. Isn’t it the conduct of the 3 judges which has undermined the integrity of the court? The upnd petition was an opportunity for the court to show its authority in a contest dogged by institutional collapse and growing executive impunity. Mr. Changala, you mean you cannot see the impunity of the executive, or the failure of ecz to conduct credible elections? Why should we be voting if those in power can manipulate our votes, or have we become a nation of fools? But take note of this fact: history teaches us that life has a way of sorting out crookedness. Its just a matter of time.

Somebody told me that Anne Sitali is actually Anne Mwewa Sitali an Ushi from Luapula Province; Mungeni Siwale Mulenga is a Namwanga from Muchinga or Northern province; Palan Mulonda is Swaka from Central Province. All these judges are Bemba speaking and HH is convinced that is why they ruled in the manner they did. Ba HH please change your mindset. • Don’t be brain-washed by LUNGU like a NORTH-KOREAN. Stealing a cob of maize is wrong, there are plenty stories of a brother killing another for eating his cob of maize. Stealing an election, bribing a judiciary is even more wrong & the damage may take 100’s of years.

I’ve been condemning the stealing/plunder culture. I know plenty Bembas who are not thieves. I also know plenty tongas who are thieves. However the culture of plundering is of Bemba origin, thats why u need to read the article to understand. Many tribes have joined in this culture especially Nyanjas. LUNGU himself, Kaizer, are a perfect examples.

  31. Sometimes when I read comments on social media I wonder whether Zambians read enough. Ironically the same people that we call thugs and criminals are called upon to adjudicate on our cases. The biggest letdown is the lawyers. As a layperson I see that both actions for HH failed not because of judges but because the lawyers did not know what to do. See yesterday case, the lawyers wanted a full bench 3 Supreme Court Judges but started the matter as a chamber matter which as per laws of the court meant a single judge hearing the matter. A motion would have been correct.

Its only those who benefit from the rotten system and are beneficiaries of proceeds of crime that are jubilating the unprecedented scandal orchestrated by Lungu and his minions. Zambia will not prosper and will never unite and will end up dividing when you have warped minds that believe that Tongas,Lozis, Luvales, Lundas and Kaondes can never rule, and post outrageous insults about these tribes. If you want Zambia to be united, you must believe in the rule of law, demonstrate fairness and show respect for all the peoples of Zambia. Where there is no Justice there is no peace.

  35. Agony is to pretend that you have won when deep down your heart you know you have lost. It is like a person who has been walking for kilometers and books a taxi 200 meters before his destination and pretends he has traveled by taxi. only failures do that kind of thing.

  36. Let’s have respect for systems and individuals that run them. Your great HH called Judges of the Concourt thugs and in a flash return to the same court to seek Justice. He is lucky that they never slapped him with contempt because as we know even though the Judges cannot answer to these tantrums they can get their day. Ask yourself why your HH quickly withdrew the action in the Concourt?

  37. @26.1 maloza, the Chitumukulu is only my chief as a Zambian so don’t tribalise me. But what Chitimukulu said cannit be used as an excuse for you to practice tribalism in this era where there are no longer any nomadic migrations.
As far as I know most if not all Zambian tribes have a history of raiding or conquering others either in Zambia on the way to consolidation of people into what we know today as Zambia. The lozis, lundas of Northwestern, the ngonis etc and virtually all tribes have their share of this rich history. But we are now One Zambia One Nation and have even integrated across tribes. So do you think that tonga men who married bembas regard their wives as thieves and their beautiful and loved children as born from a thief wife? Grow up Maloza, society develops all the…

  38. So Mr Maliza, Mr Spaka like lilo etc in UPND stone ages, remain burning. Me and my tonga wife, luvale mulamus, lozi cousins, ngoni nephews and bemba uncles are doing dununa today. Its the only thing that we have agreed to disobey our President in celwbrating this day. If you guys can’t stand dununa today, just choke on your envy, not even the angelic Edgar will stop us from celebrating this day loudly with Dununa Reverse. Even a winning football team does celebrate without worrying about hurting the losing team for such is civilisation.

“THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT HAS RULED THAT MINISTERS AND THEIR DEPUTIES ARE IN OFFICE ILLEGALLY FOLLOWING THE DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT. THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT DELIVERED THE LAND MARK RULING ADDING THAT PRESIDENT EDGAR LUNGU WAS WRONG TO MAINTAIN THE MINISTERS IN OFFICE AFTER THE DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT”…..

    and

President Lungu says will comply with the directives of the Constitutional Court Judgment on his Ministers. But HH says its EITHER ‘my way’ or ‘the highway’!

  41. It’s true judges are corrupt. Why did they rule against pf that ministers are in office ilegaly and that they should pay back all monies they got after parley was dissolved. That is criminal and thuggery. I wonder why hh did not consider mentioning this issue also.

  42. ZAMBIA’S JUDICIARY IS ROTTEN. CORRUPTION IS RAMPANT IN THE JUDICIARY OF OUR COUNTRY. LUNGU HIMSELF IS PROMOTING CORRUPTION IN THE JUDICIARY BY BUYING ALL THE JUDGES WHO SHOULD HAVE BY MORAL OBLIGATION RULED AGAINST LUNGU’S SELF IMPOSITION ON MILLIONS OF ZAMBIAN PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR A CHANGE BY VOTING FOR HH. CORRUPTION IS WHAT IS GOING TO CAUSE THIS COUNTRY TO COMPLETELY COLLAPSE UNDER EDGAR LUNGU’S REIGN. LUNGU AND FARANK BWALYA ARE A SERIOUS MENACE IN ZAMBIA.

The world will also have a chance to see the evidence.

  46. Mr Changala it is people like you who are have insulted the judiciary system in Zambia. You have been quiet so far only to buck now why? Are now looking for post from Lungu?Dr. Martin Luther King once said “he who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it. So what kind of activist are you if you can close eyes to human rights and cooperate with evil me. Shut your mouth.

  48. why not call them thugs? The whole civilised world can attest to this. Criminals, thugs, rooters, fabble minded moroons deeply rooted in corruption, nepotism and tribalism. God the great judge saw what the thuggery judgess did to our democracy and reputation.

  50. @50 spaka like lilo, I am proud to inform you that we have finally successfully proudly inaugurated the President-elect. Are you coming back to make another attempt in 2021? If it is UPND don’t waste your time dear friend, those have damaged their party beyond reasonable repair. And if you remain behind or with HH it will be like a tick sticking to a dead carcass of a cow.

  53. Judges have it in their hands to send him off to Jail for contempt, and the state must look into ?Treason. No Zambian with any amount of intellect can still believe UPND is a proper political party. They are a group of people with an interest of sorts that has nothing to do with running for gov’t for the people. They have misled many innocent Zambians in joining them in support, showing them Dollar signs and promising them a richer life but only if HH becomes President, ….no one else in his party, seemingly. They should not be allowed to continue, but only the people can send them off by Learning something about the unacceptable HH and the cowards that allow him to remain Party Leader. We need to ensure that we examine the actions of this party for the public to be sensitised on…

I dont even know how a sane woman would conceive such an UGLY and Evil minded creature like this one – what a waste of sp,er.ms he is!! That is why Sata wanted to teach this USELESS OLD MAN a lesson! ID.IO.T!!

    • Mr Changala, I strongly urge you, as Human Rights Activist, to canvass for a preliminary inquiry into the aborted petition. Only after that should we start entertaining demands for people to be tried for contempt. If anything the Court was in contempt of itself!

  55. Now the end is here, what started as a break with a spent KK will END in dictatorship and civil strife – from the demagogue of “donchi kubeba” to the dunnschiß of “dununa” – the journey deep in the valley of darkness is finally CEMENTED; let’s see who shall liberate the meek and the numbskulls; Germans were lucky Hitler started a world war and the Allies were OBLIGED to free them from their TRESPASS – imwe as maBlacki muzachiona, now China and the West will start the new scramble for Africa in earnest…how Mama Africa weeps, with bloodied loins and her misguided greedy children…BUT AFRICA SHALL RISE, AFTER ALL THE IMPOSITORS ARE GONE, God bless Africa – I weep for my Motherland, but then so be IT… ?

  56. We need to ensure that we examine the actions of this party for the public to be sensitised on their tribal tendencies. This election was disturbing in that so many people were duped to vote for HH in growing numbers. Insulting Judges and The Office of a The Preside t should be treason and we need a legal finding against HH&Co so that thus is never repeated. Calling UPND a Political Party is like the UK calling the former IRA in Ireland a Political Party! Rightly they were Terrorists and had the integrity to call themselves that. UPND has no integrity to do so, and I believe the Zambian gov’t should not be frightened to treat UPND for what they are. Protecting the country requires removing danger real and studiously anticipated before the fibre of the country is torn irreparably.

  57. Of course they are thugs and criminals… what’s wrong with giving them that label if they appear so to the observer?

No doubt President Lungu’s legitimacy is in question no matter how one would gloss over the fact. The fact that the opposition were not given time to present their evidence will always cast a dark cloud on Lungu’s presidency.

Having said that this constitution needs to be updated to remove inconsistencies and ambiguities. Even the Speaker handover isn’t a best solution. First a Speaker is usually a political cadre so this doesn’t eliminate bias. Then there’s a question of what happens if an president-elect is from the opposition and the petitioner is also from the opposition? Or in the last term of the incumbent in which he/she has no interest.

  58. When the CONCOURT ruled in favour of HH and LAX over the continuation of Cabinet Ministers after dissolution of Parliament there was jubilation in the opposition camp and LAZ. The CONCOURT judges were praised by HH. When HH failed to commence prosecution of the declaration of ECL as president-elect and IMW as vice-president elect while concentration was on filing and modifications on the filings forgetting that time was running out without presenting evidence for judges to act ending up with a thrown out case the same HH called the CONCOURT judges all sorts of names. Double standards??????

  60. Mr Changala needs to live 50 more years and look back on the happenings now in Zambia, he will definitely agree with HH that these judges are thugs! Scholars shall research on this case and HH will be vindicated, am sure Changala is too young to know this!

  61. Changala if you want a job or favor just say rather than wanting to use a spring board to be seen. The constitutional court judges damaged there own reputation from the day those three judges accepted bribes. Anyone accepting bribes commits a crime and HH was right to call them thugs. Call a spade a spade bane

  62. If HH was to be President of Zambia this fake activist Changala would have been pouring praises on HH. Now that it is Lungu being sworn in he wants to be noticed. He is talking rubbish. This is how poverty is ruining our country where people talk with their bellys instead of using their brains.

The Tonga Party, its online supporters, the thugs of Namwala, Dog Watchers Zambia Ltd and all their delusional members are a let down to the interests of Zambia as a well-known peaceful nation on the continent of Africa. 66. where is the judgement on who take office when there is a petition? Can you call a corrupt person as a good and honorable man? John the Baptist called those chaps brood of vipers , was he wrong to have addressed them in that manner? no! so perhaps we call all the biast judges in the manner John refered to them “brood of vipers”

  68. RESPECT IS EARNED BY THE WAY ONE CONDUCTS HIMSELF. THESE JUDGES WILL DO WELL TO VACATE OFFICE SO THAT PEOPLE WHO DESERVE TO BE THERE CAN TAKE CHARGE. THE PROBLEM WE HAVE IN AFRICA IS LACK OF SHAME. WE NEED TO PROTECT THE JUDICIALLY & ALL GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS BUT PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE MUST BE EXEMPLARY IN THEIR CONDUCT. TODAY IT IS HH, TOMORROW IT MAY BE U OR ME, HENCE THE NEED TO DEMAND FOR BETTER CONDUCT OF THESE PEOPLE IN THESE INSTITUTIONS. TO MR. CHANGALA, AS A HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST, WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON HH’S RIGHT TO BE HEARD? U CAN NOT TALK OF PROTECTING OTHER RIGHTS BY VIOLATING OTHERS. WE ALL NEW THAT THE PETITION WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN AGAINST EL BUT HH DESERVED CHANCE TO HEARD & THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE BEGINNING OF THE RECONCILIATION THAT EL IS TALKING ABOUT.
