Hosts Zambia face Egypt in 2017 CAF U20 Cup group stage

Hosts Zambia will face old foes Egypt in the group stage of the 2017 African Youth Championship tournament.

The two sides were drawn together in Group A following draws made at CAF headquarters in Cairo on Monday.

Zambia and the four-time Africa Under-20 champions last meeting in this competition was in the 2007 edition of the tournament held in Congo-Brazzaville.

Zambia beat Egypt 3-0 in a Group B match on their way to a fourth place finish.

Mali and Guinea complete Group A.

And Group B will consist of 2015 hosts and runners-up Senegal, Cameroon South Africa and Sudan.

Zambia will host the African Youth Championship from February 26 to March 12 in Lusaka and on the Copperbelt.
