Nkana striker Ronald Kampamba is elated by his recall to the Zambia National Team.
Sate Sate returns to the Zambia setup for the first time since the teams’ opening 2017 Africa Cup Group E qualifier against Guinea Bissau that ended 0-0 in Ndola on June 13, 2015.
“Everything has got time. Firstly, I thank God that I have been recalled,” Kampamba said.
He is part of the 24-home based players who are hoping to make the cut for the November 12 away date against Cameroon in a 2018 FIFA World Cup Group B qualifier in Limbe.
“I must work hard to be part of the team. I must work hard and score more goals,” Kampamba said.
The striker has scored five goals since rejoining Nkana on loan from Egyptian club Wadi Degla in mid 2016.
Meanwhile, the local squad has regrouped in Lusaka and held a morning training session at Sunset Stadium on Monday.
