Kabwe High Court Judge Eddie Sikazwe has upheld the election of Ikeleng’e Constituency Member of Parliament, Elijah Muchima.
The seat was petitioned by Abiud Kawangu (PF) who petitioned Elijah Muchima(UPND) and the Electoral Commission of Zambia.
Mr. Kawangu petitioned claiming that there was wide vote-buying, rampant bribery and corruption by Muchima, and that he peddled malicious propaganda and falsehood against him.
He also claimed that his supporters suffered intimidation.
But Judge Sikazwe declared that Muchima was duly elected.

Yes we need Amos Chanda on TV again, I even wonder why he was not fired today. Anyway, he was only pouring what people around Edgar say.
Excellent judgment. No threats from State House should deter judges from meting out justice.
ANOTHER USELESS JUDGE TO BE FIRED
This was a normal decision. it would be a waste of money for PF to think re-contesting the seat can make them win in Nothwestern province. it cant work. Judge Sikazwe good decision. Sve money for mother Zambia although I believe another campaign time could have given the people of ikelenge more money in their pokets.
Infact that is an example of abuse of Court processes to say the least.

Its excellent judgement when its going on your way or your wishes and you praise the judges if not you call judges all sort of names can we be fair in our critics. If we are to save money as per judges should just uphold all the elections of mps in petitions finish so that we just have to wait for 2021 and see who is who.
@Basutwe judges can not just uphold all elections of MPs. If they did that they would not be doing their work of properly adjudicating cases.
