A delegation from Brazil’s aerospace conglomerate (Embraer) that produces military, commercial, executive and agriculture aircraft and provides aeronautical services, will next week be visiting Zambia on programmes aimed at strengthening economic and military ties between the two countries.
The delegation will be headed by Embraer Business Development Director Mr. Caetano Spuldaro Neto and Sales engineering Manager Mr. Gustavo Siqueira, on the programme arranged by the Zambian Mission in Brasilia through Defence Advisor Colonel Godwin Chenda.
Speaking during the meeting with Colonel Chenda at the Zambian Chancery on Friday, Mr. Siqueira said the delegation will arrive in Zambia on Sunday in readiness for the commencement of meetings next Monday with Defence Minister Mr. Davies Chama, followed by a stakeholders meeting, including those in air transportation.
The three-day visit by the delegation is expected to result in possibilities by the Zambian defence forces in the purchase of Brazilian military aircraft as well as possibilities of looking towards Brazil to improve air transportation.
Embraer take your business to serious countries like Kenya,Rwanda,Ethiopia and South Africa which have a real aviation industry. In Zed we’re serious jokers.
Strange How Zambia align itself. Brazil has serious economic issue, they don’t even have their own airline, to come and advise Zambia?? PF leadership are serious Jokers. They don’t do their research properly..
The also produce military aircraft, they will be meeting pf defence minister, they are just looking for market for their military ware.
@Enka, if you are a Zambian then that’s a very disappointing remark. Very wrong attitude & spirit. Life is short & if you spend it being negative you would have wasted the gift of life from God. Other countries make progress not only because of what politicians do but what educated citizens do. Who do you expect to change Zambia’s fortunes? There is nothing stopping you from doing anything in Zambia. In fact Zambia has a better score in ease of doing business than most of those countries you mention. RSA only beats Zambia slightly.
Other countries do not have 1mbeciles which rely on God for the daily bread.
The chosen one
When you have leaders who would rather be called thrives and cancel petitions rather then address almost half of the voting publics concerns of electral theft , that is what you get….
Please people comment something constructive. Enough of name calling and complaints, how about starting to brainstorm solutions for our problems? forget about ECL and his cabinet or HH, let us do this as Zambians not as PF, UPND or FDD.
Citizen,
When you have leaders who would rather be called thevies and cancel petitions rather then address almost half of the voting publics concerns of electral theft , that is what you get……total collapse in confidence of the theives ruling us…
There is a breakdown in moral values and the rule of law in Zambia.
Just look at what KZ did in front of lungu to the police woman and CAF officials or David mwila calling on caders to steal plots and take over public places.
All on camera.
While lungu watches.
The Zambian embassy in Brazil looks far much better than the tired outdated deco in state house.

Can we start canvassing for establishment of a national airline. A strong and proactive civil society is what is needed. Not fikabova just issuing insults in papers!!!
