State House says President Edgar Lungu’s has not acted on calls for him to fire his political affairs advisor Kaizer Zulu for allegedly assaulting a female Police officer recently because the matter is still under investigation.

The President’s Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations, Amos Chanda says Police are still investigating the alleged assault case.

Mr. Chanda states that State House cannot therefore comment on a matter that is under investigation.

He has also told Qfm News by telephone that President Lungu cannot takeover investigations into the alleged corruption of Ministers whom he is being asked to fire.

Mr. Chanda states that the fact that President Lungu cannot carryout investigations on his own, it’s imperative for the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to be proactive.

He says President Lungu’s view is that government agencies such as the ACC should not only perform prosecution functions, but also remain institutions of integrity.

Mr. Chanda was responding to concerns that President Lungu may be paying lip service to the fight against corruption owing to his reluctance to fire alleged corrupt Ministers in his government

  1. The Question is when will these So Called investigations be concluded??
Surely, one doesn’t need to investigate Dora, K. Zulu or those RB’s Corrupt Sons…

How I wish captain SOLO had succeeded, military rule is much better than perpetually having these re-cycled politicians… Surely, IMWE BANTU, what is it that DORA can offer as a minister???

  2. There is just no way Lungu can fire Kaizer, it can never happen. Kaizer is more powerful than the president.

Even if Kaizer’s violent behavior led him to beating the president, he can’t be fired…. The president might be the one apologizing to Kaizer for making him angry.

  3. of course it is still under investigation because all this son of a b1tch’s cases end up dying out suddenly without any sentences. That ugly gorilla called kaiser knows alot of secrets regarding the theft of elections and hence lungu cannot touch him. In other words kaiser is effing lungu in the backside. A bunch of useless pr1cks who should be eradicated from this death. I am telling you these guys will die a painful death

  4. Fire who? Kaisa? My foot. Remember how he grabbed the ballot boxes at city airport, and you think he can keep quite. The president owe to KZ, big time. With the lions (GBM and HH) prowling around seeking who to devour for information. The presindent wont dare.

  5. Comment: Kambwili and Chilubanama fired. In case of Kambwili it was even before investigations started. Others investigations must finish. In case of Dora no investigations and no tribunal.

    • Spot on – no justice. Different rules for CK and Zulu with CK being fired for having the ambitions of wanting to take over from Lungu!!
Even a dull Ar.se like Amos Chanda thinks Zambians cant see their hypocrisy – so desperate they are!!

    • Just talk about the foolish Kaizer and do not bring ill-informed comparisons with Kambwili’s or Chilubanama’s situations.

  6. Amos is another piece of Lungu’s SH.IT with no brains!!
There is nothing wrong in LAW with Lungu firing him from his role for bringing the presidency into disrepute while the Police investigate assault case – the 2 cases are separate. Is Lungu trying to find a reason for retaining his thug – we are NOT like Lungu’s DULL children!!
Whatever, the outcome of the investigation in the assault case (i.e. even if parties chose to settle out of court (with intimidation)), Kaizer’s behaviour at the Disaster Stadium is UNACCEPTABLE and must GO NOW – there is NOTHING to wait for!!

    • I am with you Chilyata. And let them not forget, there are cleaverer Zambian than they think. And they cannot be taken for a ride for too long. We know what is going on and for sure the executive is failing a lot of us.

  7. At last this fraudster has come out of hibernation after forging a Commonwaelth letter purporting to say that the Commonwealth had recognised Lungu as duly elected and that the Elections were free, fair and credible. Can Amos Chanda issue a Statement telling us the response from the Commonwealth? Amos should also tell the Nation what SADC said on the Petition. Did SADC recognise Lungu and advised him not to be bothered about the UPND Petition? Amos Chanda is now part of the clique assembled to cover up the murder at Woodland. This is just a cover up scheme and nothing concrete will come out of these imvestigations. The fish rots from the head downwards.

  8. Kaizer Zulu is ECL’s special adviser on politics. The political adviser, suddenly finds himself on the football pitch, individuals assigned to carry out proceedings related to football suddenly start getting harassed and assaulted. Then we are told, disciplinary action cannot be taken against the political adviser because the investigations are still going-on,my foot!!Who is investigating, and what are they investigating???

  9. How many days, & effort does this REPEAT OFFENDERS Kaizae need.
If this was stealing, or touring P.F would conclude in a matter of hours.

  10. What further investigations? Kaiser Zulu was captured on CCTV beating the woman. The Tape is probably destroyed by the notorious ZPS by now. KZ is the one who played a major role in rigging the 2016 Elections for Lungu. That is why they are blocking the Petition Hearing and jailed Obvious Mwaliteta and others to prevent them from testifying in Court how KZ stole the votes for Lungu. At this rate KZ will do something very serious becoz he is above the Law. KZ is the Kingmaker but the King is nothing on his own without him .Hence nobody can touch KZ. Even Lungu and his Godfather RB cannot discipline KZ. No wonder violence and lawlessness has tripled in Zambia.

  11. Nothing will happen to KZ.

The victim will withdraw the case.

    There’s nothing anyone can do.

That is lungus toilet morals for you.

  12. Iwee ka Amos Chanda state house aide wakwa Edgar wilatumfya abekala calo…investigation ubobufi ulelanda cases of assault there is nothing like ifyo ulebwatabwata.Bushe ulemona kwati tulifipuba?ZAMBIANS did not expect you would be so shallow in mind including nabobene bonse mwikala nokulya pamo mwefipuba mwee.If it was for a common man, rotten and corrupt PF GOVT and its POLICE/JUDICIARY system currently going on this country there would be no such baseless excuses and by now jailed but also wonder why the so called KZ has since not be caged or it could the Animal Farm story?Anyway, days are numbered for PF cadres/minions

  13. The matter against Kambwili was under investigation but Lungu still went ahead and fired him. Is it because Zulu is an Easterner?

  14. The president is surrounded by a cabal of wolves and it’s either he doesn’t realise it or is just powerless. He has not gotten back to the nation about the Amos Chanda comments on judiciary, all he said was let’s watch a rerun of the interview and see. The president has a duty to get back to his employers, the citizens of this country! He should be facing the country at least once a week and report on happenings. Investigations cant take so long. Wake up and smell the coffee. When the citizens judge you, they won’t judge you together with kaiser but alone. Remember that. Walk the talk not just talking the talk.

  15. Kaizer Zulu was abusing that ZP officer right in front of Edgar Lungu and no need to investigate this matter. The fact was recorded for all to see. If this is how State House works, we are better off razing it down with its stupid occupants and start afresh with leaders with eyes to see, brains to work with, and patriotism for a better Zambia instead of these *****s, imbeciles.

  16. Chilubanama the most hardworking ministers was fired without giving us reasons, the man was a MR DISCIPLINE MATSER IN STATEHOUSE but alas we lost him and ECL brough kalulu who is toothless
