From left to right: Frank Sebitwani Sikota, Mubiana Kalaluka, Kaundula Kalaluka and Maboshe Kalaluka have been arrested for unlawful possession of raw ivories and elephant meant. The three Kalalukas are brothers. Mubiana Kalaluka is the owner of the vehicle used to transport the above ivories.     I always get amused when I see ECL “touring” local facilities like border posts or commissioning roads or the like – I cant imagine Theresa May or Donald Trump being shocked at smuggling …..I supposed the job descriptions are completely different.

    So what happens to the Mikula logs once confiscated? I hope once cases are disposed of the government still goes ahead and sells these logs giving the proceeds for use in policing to the authority responsible for protection of forests.
