Black Motion mesmerize the crowd at Castle Lite event

Friday 5th May was the day of the highly anticipated Castle Lite UNLOCKS: Black Motion event hosted by The Misty jazz restaurant & Cafe.

Black Motion is a multi award winning South African house/dance music duo, best known for their percussion driven electronic dance music productions and energetic performance routines. The duo is made up of Bongani Mohosana and Thabo Mabogwane.

The event can be described as a house music extravaganza! It featured the likes of local giants in the house music genre DJ Blocks and DJ Sebastien Dutch. Other performances were by house music artist Kiki , and Chef 187 ,who arguably stole the show! After performing a number of his hit songs such as “99 jobs” , “Foolish me”, “mundowe ndowe” , “House party muka one room” he left the energised audience screaming for more.

When Black Motion came on stage the crowed went into hysteria. Their catchy tunes and energetic performance were a splendour to watch. I was particularly impressed by Thabo. His drumming prowess was displayed expertly.

The event, hosted by Radio host/Tv presenter Chinyonta Msimuko (Chi), was very succesfull and pulled in a sizable crowd. Part of the festivities was a competition to win an all expenses paid trip to a Castle Lite Unlocks concert in Tanzania featuring US hit maker Future. The competition was won by one of the revellers.
