The Zambia squad coach Wedson Nyirenda has called for the 4 June friendly match against Gabon has regrouped in Lusaka.
Zambia will battle against Gabon in Libreville to prepare for the June 10 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique in Ndola.
17 players took part in the Monday morning training at Woodlands Stadium.
“The coach has named the 23 players for the game against Gabon and this morning we had 17 in training,” Team manager Chris Chibuye said.
“We are only waiting for players from Nkana who were playing in Nakonde on Saturday and could not be here on time because of the distance. Apart from those only Jonas Sakuwaha (Buildcon) and Mwila Phiri are absent,” Chibuye said.
According to FAZ, Chipolopolo will fly straight to Ndola from Libreville where they will set up camp for the Mozambique match.
Foreign based players will join camp on Sunday with Zesco United and Zanaco who have continental engagements.
