Wedson Nyirenda has ended striker Given Singuluma’s two-year Chipolopolo exile.
Singuluma is one of seven foreign-based players in Nyirenda’s provisional 29-member team for the June 10 home clash against Mozambique in a 2019 AFCON Group K qualifier at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
The TP Mazembe striker returns to the fold for the first time since June,2015 when he featured in Zambia’s 1-1 home draw against Guinea Bissau played in Ndola in a 2017 AFCON qualifier.
But Singuluma’s club mate, the midfielder Nathan Sinkala, has been axed for the first time since he became a regular under ex-Zambia coach Herve Renard in November 2011.
Meanwhile, Zambia head into camp in camp in Ndola on June 4 ahead of their opening Group K qualifier.
Guinea Bissau and Namibia are the other teams in Group K.
