MMD Die hard Youth wing caution William against attacking RB

Headlines MMD Die hard Youth wing caution William against attacking RB

The MMD Die Hard Youth Wing has told former Lusaka Province MMD Chairperson William Banda to stop commenting on the political situation of the country because he has shown that he is a bad political advisor.

William Banda is quoted in some sections of the media as having said that former Republican President Rupiah Banda should stop involving himself with the current  political situation in the country but MMD Die Hard Youths National Coordinator Gerald Chiluba said William Banda reserved no rights to comment on what is happening in the country.

Chiluba said it is the likes of Banda who are wrongly advising their leader Hakainde Hichilema that he is facing treason charges in the courts of law today.

He said it was shocking that the former President was being attacked for sharing his opinion on the political tension in the country.

Chiluba expressed  shocked that the  attacks on the former Head of State Rupiah Bwezani Banda over his recent comment with regard to the state of political affairs in our country were unfortunate.

He said Banda was only trying to give his honest opinion on the perceived political tension which is expected of the former Head of state like elsewhere in the world.

“William Banda reserves no moral right to drag the former president into their dirty politics. Infact he should have been the one to have been advising the UPND on the best practices of democractic politics because he had learnt from the best of politicians in which case former President Rupiah Banda,” he said.

He added “The records of the former Head of State are clear, he freely gave up power without hesitation because the ECZ had announced that he had lost, which the UPND are failing owing  to political advisers like him who claim to have ideas about politics and yet they know nothing, that’s why HH is going through what he is going through today because of such characters who have continued to mislead and misadvise him.”

Mr Chiluba further called on politicians to stop the habit of disrespecting the office of the former Head of State because there is much more that Zambia as a nation can learn from the said office.

He said MMD like UNIP share a proud record of peacefully handing over power when they lost something he said William Banda should inculcate in the UPND leadership.

“We want to take this opportunity to appeal to politicians not to rob the integrity which has been bestowed on our former Head of States as we have much more to learn from their weaknesses and strengths they possessed while in government. Let us hold them in high esteem like the Mandela’s and kwame krumah’s.

“Just like UNIP in 1990, we coincided defeat in 2011 and peacefully handed over power, that is the record that every Zambian has and former President Banda is globally celebrated for that display of Statesmanship and democracy. We expect William having learnt from best practices to inculcate the same spirit of democracy and respect for the will of the people in his party UPND, we want to encourage the UPND to be careful with individuals  like him because It is such behaviour that makes one continuing to lose elections,” he said.

    • MMD die-hards have lost the plot they can’t even keep track of their Senior Members. Get a grip RB moved to PF a long time ago to follow corruption. He is no longer with MMD. You don’t know that RB is the mother of all corruption and chaos in Zambia and he has to be at the centre of power to feed his habit. An you guys are fighting a battle for a guy who left you already because you are not at the helm. You have been abandoned and not now after SAT died he started plotting and he is back in power as we speak controlling the clueless ECL.

    • Indeed what die hard? Mr William Banda has the same Human Rights as Mr Rupiah Banda to comment on any topic of his choice. Who are you to stop him?

  1. We are not all stupid that those PF following blindly, we heard with our ears when Lungu was planning treason against HH way before the elections. Zambia has gone to the dogs no integrity.

  2. William Tekere Banda is a thug! Just ignore him. No FTJ deported him back to Malawi together with the late Chinula Banda. These are total idi…ts who can’t do without violence. They thrice on violence – no wonder he has been quiet all this time only to be heard when there’s an “imaginary” tension.

  3. First it was Chilufya Tayali, now it’s William Banda threatening to spill the beans on RB. What did this man do? The country needs to know?

    • One of the things he did was preside over the largest foreign exchange reserves in the country’s history.

    • In fact people should desist from these warnings. If there is something bad you know about someone, why warn him or her, just go straight ahead and spill the beans so that all and sundry can know! Warnings are either a worst of time or the guy threatening to spill the beans is just beating an empty drum!

  4. Gerald Chiluba, young man sober up and talk kind words. Kindly repent young man…..
RB , William Banda are elderly people who can solve their problems . They don’t need you help. Better be quiet than show hatred to one side.
Honour your father and mother is GOD’s commandment. when your father and mother are fighting , whom do you support? if it is your mother you are supporting, would you be happy if your father is beaten by your mother? This is a riddle of life.
After they have reconciled and you were ululating that your father was beaten, what would be your reaction?

  5. Die hard kwawiso, mmd is dead ,my friend don’t be ignorant mungu traffic ? offence to you is treason?at die ? hard koswee.

  6. RB is the main causer of the problems Zambia is facing he is bad leader. If the real PF, the late Michael Sata (may he sour rest in peace) was alive RB could have been a refuge by now.

  7. Chiluba is defending the indefensible. Who doesn’t know that RB is the Godfather and Architect of Lungu’s Dictatorship. RB thru his first Cousin Essau Chulu,Chairman of ECZ rigged the 2016 Election together with Dictator Lungu and his Criminal Advisers like Kaizer Zulu, Mumbi Phiri etc. RB has many skeletons in the closet and is beneficiary today’s Lungu’s corruption and Dictatorship. Zambia is in a mess today becoz of RB’s Wako ni Wako and Umodzi Kumawa philosophies. RB is a bad Adviser to Lungu and is misleading him in the Process. RB and ECL simplified things and thought that they could just rig the Elections and get away with it. They must by now realise that it is easier to rig an Election than it is to rig the Economy. Without IMF Loan, Western Donor Aid and investments the…

  8. ” Chiluba said it is the likes of Banda who are wrongly advising their leader Hakainde Hichilema that he is facing treason charges in the courts of law today”
So Chiluba you have found HH guilty even before the case starts?

  9. Can William Banda be advisor to anyone on planet earth? If so, results are there for all to see. Those he advices are perpetual court attendees. Violence has always been been part of William Tekele Banda and that is the legacy he is going to leave in this world.

  10. A CAUT

A cautionary note to all you desrespectiful, uninformed anarchical minions! It is time you learnt to discuss issues intelligebly, without recourse to demonising leadership because you lack the capacity for proper intellectual discourse. Is it ever possible to credit our leaders with heartfelt gratitude for their efforts and energy into nation building? Why are you always so vile? You cannot have every Zambian be a Malawian, Zimbabwean, Congolese,Angolan etc. If you are devoid of substance keep the nonsense to yourselves. KK, RB, ECK, FTJ, ECL and the many women leaders deserve your respect.

  11. RB must be a very powerful man he is blamed for upND losses to PF awe shuwa he is the main voter. I wonder what magic he now possess which didnt have when Sata defeated him! As long as hh and his lot dont face reality they will continue to blame everyone but themselves for their defeat

  12. Is zambia devoid of men and women of intellect? Die hard my foot there is a minister who called himself Die hard in MMD what a counntry.

  13. KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK DIE WHAT WEMBWA I WE? IS MUTATI BOTH PRESIDENT IN YOUR FOOLISH DEAD PARTY AND AT THE SAME TIME A MINISTER OF FINANCE IN PF GOVERNMENT? HOW WILL HE PROVIDE CHECKS AND BALANCES IN PARLIAMENT? HOW WILL HE CRITICIZE THE GOVERNMENT FOR ITS WRONG DOING S ? HOW WILL HE DE-CAMPAIGN PF DURING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS OF WHICH IS PARTY AND PARCEL OF THEIR MISTAKES. TELL HIM TO STOP LOVING MONEY TOO MUCH BECAUSE THE BAIT HE TOO HAS DESTROYED HIM POLITICALLY WHAT HE AWAITS IS TO GET A SACK AND HE WILL BE FINISHED COMPLETELY .TELL YOUR MUTATI TO CHOSE WHETHER MMD OR PF HE CANNT SAVE THE TWO SERVANTS AT A GO. TOO MANY BOOT LICKERS AND JOB SEEKERS IN ZAMBIA
