South Africa President Jacob Zuma will on Saturday begin a working visit to Zambia.
In a statement, the South African Presidency said Zuma would be in Lusaka to officially open the 91st Agricultural and Commercial Show as a guest of honour and at the invitation of President Edgar Lungu.
The show is organised under the theme The Promotion of Green Economy.
According to the statement, South Africa and Zambia have good bilateral political, economic and social relations, underpinned by strong historical ties dating back from the years of the liberation struggle.
The two countries have signed 21 Agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) over the past years.
A Memorandum of Understanding concerning cooperation in the field of agriculture, which enables the two countries to share agricultural development experiences, capacity building and skills development programmes among other areas of cooperation, is among those that were signed.
Zuma will be accompanied by Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Senzeni Zokwana

Zuma has single-handedly destroyed the once vibrant South African economy into junk status. What saved RSA is that they still has strong institutions like judiciary (Not our rotten ConCourt), former public protector (Not our rotten ACC), elections body (Not our rotten ECZ).
Corrupt Leaders have affinity. Zuma though corrupt seems to have some good democratic credentials. How does Zuma justify his visit to Zambia after correctly observing that Lungu is now a Dictator. Apart from corruption what shared values does Lungu and Zuma share? Lets hope Zuma will advise Lungu to restore Constitutional Democracy in Zambia, release HH from Jail unharmed and unconditionally, lift the SOE and allow the Petition to be heard. Zuma needs to leave a legacy in South Africa.

President Jacob Zuma is the president of one of the powerful nations in Africa,so its a blessing for Zambia to host such a leader who rub shoulders with super power’s presidents(e.g:Trump,Putin,Xi Ping,etc) at G20 meetings!!H.E Jacob Zuma is not in the same league with HH or GBM.he is far above HH’s level politically.so if president Edgar Lungu can host him,its really good news for mother Zambia!!SO FOR ONCE UPND CADRES STOP BEING…
@Njimbu, reason is that this time (2016) they were so sure ati liletenta…they even chased ECZ trucks, they disrupted the results announcement process, they hijacked electoral material and did many other unacceptable actions. But they still lost. ..can’t blame them for being bitter.

Will Zuma commend Lungu for declaring SOE and stealing the 2016 Elections? Now that Zuma will become the New Chairman of SADC this month what advice will he give Sadist and Dictator Lungu? The root cause of Zambia’s Crisis is the Disputed and Petitioned 2016 Election. Can Zuma advise how to resolve this Jigsaw Puzzle? Without resolving this Election Dispute peace will Never return to Zambia and without peace there cannot be devt in Zambia under illegitimate President Lungu.
