Limping FAZ Super Division side City of Lusaka have dropped coach Hector Chilombo to the role of assistant after hiring Italian trainer Roberto Landi.
City are second from the bottom of the table with 11 points from 20 matches played.
Club spokesperson Alex Njobvu said Landi has been hired together with compatriot Giuseppe Macca for the remainder of the season.
Njobvu emphasised that City have not fired Chilombo contrary to speculations that followed the club’s 3-1 loss at Zanaco in midweek action.
“Italian Landi is now the overall boss of the technical bench and Giuseppe is the physical trainer,” he said.
“We have engaged them up to the end of the season and after that we shall see,” Njobvu said.
Landi has coached in Liberia, America and Europe.
“We have not fired coach Hector. In fact he remains our coach although Landi is the superior.”
This is the third time City are reshuffling their bench this season.
Who cares.
I have s page and no people seen more than me and play this silly sport.
Thanks

Kabwe Warriors FC is known throughout the world and I hope they managed to buy quality players before the deadline in July 2017…
Why demote someone…instead of simply just sacking them?
Ni team ya nyoko? Viva city
Which team in America? He must have been a high school coach not MLS. Post his resume and by the way does City have the cash to pay him and the trainer?
That’s the problem with us Africans we give opportunities to these guys yet they are mere PE teachers they build their CVs then f6ck off leaving nothing…a fellow black African would not even get a look in!!
