Government says Zambians must embrace unity and hard work as key cornerstones to propel the development of the country.

ZANIS reports that Chief Government Spokesperson Kampamba Mulenga said Zambians can achieve anything if they come and work together for the benefit of their communities.

Ms Mulenga, who is also Information and Broadcasting Services Minister, said this when she commissioned a K213, 000.00 car park at Saint Michael’s Catholic Parish in Kalulushi yesterday.

And Saint Michael’s Parish Priest Nicholas Mubanga appealed to government to improve standards in health facilities.

Father Mubanga also called on medical personnel to be friendly to patients when they go to hospitals to seek for medical assistance.

The Catholic Priest pointed out that most of the times, nurses and doctors were unfriendly to patients, instead of taking care of them.

Meanwhile, Father Mubanga called on school going girls to concentrate on education and be God fearing.
