Kabushi Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo has denied slapping his Roan counterpart Chishimba Kambwili outside Parliament.
Responding via a telephone interview on the Hot Breakfast Show on Hot FM yesterday morning to Dr. Kambwili’s claims, Mr. Lusambo who is also Copperbelt Province Minister said he regretted the incidence at Parliament and said that it was Dr. Kambwili who used uncouth language on him in public.
Mr. Lusambo further said that Dr. Kambwili has a record of openly insulting his perceived enemies including President Edgar Lungu adding that the latter’s conduct was so offensive because he has not insulted him before.
“I did not beat him” Lusambo said
But according to Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili, Mr. Lusambo provoked the crisis when he confronted him publicly over allegations of corruption he has, in recent times, leveled on the Patriotic Front (PF) led government.
Dramatically narrating his ordeal, Dr. Kambwili says Mr. Lusambo first insulted and cautioned him for accusing Government of being corrupt before he slapped him twice as water was simultaneously poured on him by Mandavu Member of Parliament and Minister of Lands Jean Kapata.
The case of having misleaders like Lusambo… This guy is an embarrassment..
I would like to see Lusambo head the ministry of Home Affairs,

@ Spaka your knowledge of Law must be astounding.How is Lungu a great lawyer when he stole a client’s money and got de-registered as a Practicing Lawyer by LAZ? Lungu does not understand law. He illegally kept Ministers in their posts in 2015 and in 2016 he abrogated the Zambian Constitution and Electoral Laws when he refused to resign as an Incumbent President and handover Power to the Speaker of Parliament during the Petition Hearing process.Up to now he has blocked the Hearing of the Presidential Petition. Is this how great lawyers behave? That is typical of thuggish and lawless behavior.

The incident was captured on Camera. If Lusambo did not slap or punch CK why is he regretting his actions? The calibre of Lusambo as an MP says alot about the Appointing Authority.
