Armed police officers in Lusaka have raided opposition UPND secretariat to look for alleged hidden weapons.
The police surrounded the party’s secretariat and went straight into the premises where they demanded to search the area without first disclosing what it is they were looking for.
The staff then insisted that the search be conducted in the presence of the lawyers, who were immediately called to attend to the situation.
Shortly afterwards, lawyers Chad Muleza, Nathaniel Inambao and Marshall Muchende arrived at the office.
Mr Muleza told Journalists that police are searching for concealed weapons in the secretariat.
