Zambia have been eliminated from the 2018 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign by Botswana at the preliminary stage.
Botswana on Friday afternoon thumped Zambia 4-0 in Gaborone to advance 6-5 on aggregate.
The Young Shepolopolo failed to hold on to the 5-2 home win recorded from the first leg match of the preliminary round played in Lusaka a fortnight ago.
The Tswana’s took a 2-0 lead into the half time break before scoring two more goals in the last half to shock Zambia in this return match.
Botswana will now face South Africa in December in the next round.
Zambia were seeking a second appearance at the U-17 Women’s World Cup having made their debut at the 2014 tournament in Cost Rica.
I knew Shepoloolo would lose. Their Tswana counterparts have bigger butts.
@Ba Charles, those are children, under 17, imwe epo muletentemyina itoloshi?
Kamanga should resign on moral grounds. How can you give away a 5-2 1st leg lead.
Just as well SINCE CHIPOLOPOLO failed To beat SUPER EAGLES then who are U to go the world cup and yet u are not virgins at 17? Just bring your twenukani home for hammering
Bola na Lesa!!!!!!
how can they win when they travel on the game day. I know coz I was on the same flight with the team. obviously tired and playing under flood lights on astro-turf….
Botswana is not in Alaska. It’s an hour’s flight from Zed
Stop looking for excuses
They lost because they are ugly.
Another day of prayer, fasting and reconciallition is called for
Kagwanayo-Botswana is about 2hours 20 minutes from Lusaka direct. Now that their is no direct flight it means they went to S.A. first making the journey go up to a minimum of 5 hrs. Mwila gesa nga tamwayendapo cheating people with fake information
Zambian coaches still remain with one problem -failure to read the game. It’s sad they were booted out. 3 zero advantage, you don’t need to play -pack the bus works please Zambian coaches. The same happened in the cosafa. Zambia needs an expatriate coach!
