  1. The gentleman who passed away from his girlfriend house must have suffered from a “chest attack” due to too much sweetness as a result of too much “umutototo”. Let’s learn lessons from this poor mortal

  2. Girlfriend should be investigated. She could have strangled him who knows. How many men have died as a result of women in the recent past?

    • The police should get a post-mortem examination to ascertain the truth cause of death and I’d expect the family to demand one. Can’t just operate on assumptions in this day and age. The girlfriend may be innocent. What if the beer was poisoned? If it’s a heart attacked, what caused it?

  3. Are there defibrillators in Zambia?
Never heard of a case where somebody was taken in in an unconscious state and said to have been resuscitated using those things. Instead, they are simply declared BID.

  4. Too many assumptions without proper tests. And on the road accidents, all we ever read is ‘due to excessive speeding’. Really? All accidents in Zambia are due to speeding? What about all other possible factors, including a lack of other driving sense, state of the roads etc. Is this a way of getting away from investigating?

  5. Who told them that alcohol kills by drinking it? It is alcohol withdrawal that can kill someone. The man was an alcoholic so drinking alcohol could not kill him. I hope I am making sense.

  6. ati Pimbinyo, you want the doctors to resuscitate a dead person. You are dead when your heart stops for more than 10 minutes. A reasonable doctor will assess how long a patient has been in the so called unconscious state. If the general population can’t do a simple CPR, how the hell do you expect them to use a defibrillator? The Doctor will only check your breathing, pulse and look at the pupil and issue a death certificate if there is no response.
