  1. THIS GUY IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE THE PRESIDENT!! WHY ARE WE ENTERTAINING HIM IN ZAMBIA WHEN HE HAS CAUSED MISERY TO THE PEOPLE OF DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO! ZAMBIA SHOULD NOT ALLOW SUCH PEOPLE TO COME TO OUR CHRISTIAN COUNTRY.
LUNGU SHOULD TELL HIM TO STEP DOWN AND CREATE PEACE FOR HIS COUNTRY RATHER THAN ACCEPTING REFUGEES!

    • @1 THINK OR READ WIDELY (ESPECIALLY GEOGRAPHY) BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR WORDS ON PAPER. DESPITE HIS MURDEROUS HEAD, ZAMBIA NEEDS THIS STINKER FOR JUST ONLY ‘SNAKE’ CALLED PEDICLE ROAD. KNOW YOUR ZAMBIA FIRST AND WHY ONE OF THE REASONS LUAPULA PROVINCE IS HEAVILY UNDER-DEVELOPED. IT WAS (IS) ARTIFICIALLY, DISCONNECTED FROM THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. AND THE MORE ECONOMICAL LINK TO THE REST OF THE COUNTRY IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE PEDICLE ROAD WHICH IS IN DR CONGO AND THEREFORE THE PROPERTY OF DR CONGO. DRC HAS NO ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE OF THIS ROAD. BUT MASSIVELY, ZAMBIA, UNFORTUNATELY HAS. MOSES KATUMBI CONVINCED HIS BOSS, KABILA, WHO’S ON A VISIT IN ZAMBIA NOW, TO GIVE THIS ROAD TO ZAMBIA.

    • WITHOUT THIS ROAD THE PEOPLE OF LUAPULA PROVINCE ARE DOOMED. THE CHINESE-KK-BUILT TUTA ROAD ECONOMICALLY IS NOT VIABLE FOR THE RIVERPOOL PEOPLE. WHILE IF TARRED IT CAN TAKE ONLY 45 MINUTES (MORE THAN 2HOURS IF UNTARRED) FROM CHEMBE TO MOKAMBO- IT MAY TAKE THE COMPLETE DAY FROM MANSA TO THE COPPERBELT USING TUTA, SERENJE, LUSAKA-CB ROADS. I CAN UNDERSTAND YOUR IGNORANCE ABOUT ZAMBIA JUST LIKE MANY OTHER ZAMBIANS. SO, READ MORE BEFORE YOU INK OR OPEN YOUR MOUTH WHICH EXPOSES YOUR ABSOLUTE IGNORANCE ABOUT ZAMBIA.

    • I don’t know how safe it is now to use the Pedicle road. Under Mobutu, governance deteriorated and corruption flourished in Zaire. Zairean border officials and police went for months without being paid and turned to petty corruption to survive.[ At first small bribes were taken from Zambians whose identity cards were not in order, but this escalated to arbitrary fines, for example, a driver might be fined for wearing a hat while his passenger was fined for not wearing a hat. It was from these happenings that Teddy Chilambe came up with a song Insekete. Cross-border crime and arms smuggling had been a problem in the Copperbelt, as had been poaching in the Bangweulu wetlands.
An Anglo-Belgian Boundary Commission was established in 1911 to survey and mark the boundaries on the ground…

  2. Why do we allow leaders without value to visit our country! Kabila has lots of problems and has nothing to offer at the moment. Foreign affairs wake up and reject such people

    • @Kabwe, only a fool will ignore the leader of Congo irrespective of who it is. Zambia’s 4 provinces border the DRC and whatever happens in Congo will affect Zambia in one way or another. Secondly, Zambia is engaging Kabila to help find a solution to the issues they have. Do you really expect someone from the western world to help the Congolese help resolve the issues they have and not us their neighbours? Moise Katumbi spends a lot of time in Zambia and if you don’t know Zambia has been mediating between Katumbi and Kabila.

  3. KK, PLEASE, EBOYO MWAICE KABILA ALEKE IFYA BUSENSHI. JUST BE FRANK TO HIM AND TELL HIM THAT HE IS ONE SERIOUS FILTHY STINKER IN AFRICA. HE MUST STEP DOWN AND LET THE PEOPLE CONGO EXPERIENCE DEMOCRACY AT LEAST FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THEIR ENTIRE COUNTRY’S EXISTENCE. PLEASE, KK, YOU ARE THE REMAINING FATHER OF AFRICA- EXTEND YOUR LEGACY TO THIS 1DIOT IN ORDER FOR HIM TO SEE SENSE AND NOT ONLY ENJOY MONEY AND LOOKING AT DEAD BODIES OF HIS ‘OWN’ PEOPLE IN CONGO. HE NEEDS A LOT OF SENSE AND WISDOM WHICH HE BOTH DOESN’T HAVE.

  4. KK, PLEASE, EBOYO MWAICE KABILA ALEKE IFYA BUSENSHI. JUST BE FRANK TO HIM AND TELL HIM THAT HE IS ONE SERIOUS FILTHYY STINKERR IN AFRICA. HE MUST STEP DOWN AND LET THE PEOPLE OF CONGO EXPERIENCE DEMOCRACY AT LEAST FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THEIR ENTIRE COUNTRY’S EXISTENCE. PLEASE, KK, YOU ARE THE REMAINING FATHER OF AFRICA- EXTEND YOUR LEGACY TO THIS 1D10T IN ORDER FOR HIM TO SEE SENSE AND NOT ONLY ENJOY MONEY AND LOOKING AT DEAD BODIES OF HIS ‘OWN’ PEOPLE IN CONGO. 5. Zambia’s 4 provinces border the DRC, so we can’t ignore the leader of the Congo irrespective of who it is. Constructive engagement will help in bringing a peaceful solution to the issues affecting the Congolese.

  6. KK has now become a tourist attraction. I hope Katumbi hasn’t been betrayed because Zambia is his second home. What Kabila should concentrate his efforts on is peaceful transition not cementing bilateral relations. If he wants to settle here after leaving power, he’s welcome but let him do it fast before the Chinese finish all the land for settlement

    • “If he wants to settle here after leaving power, he’s welcome but let him do it fast before the Chinese finish all the land for settlement”
I THOUGHT YOU WOULD SAY IF KABILA WISHES TO SETTLE IN ZAMBIA, ‘HE MUST FIRST INVEST ALL HIS MONIES HE DEPOSITED ABROAD AND OVERSEAS IN ZAMBIA.

  7. The caption on the picture:
It is NOT Kabila flanking Malanji, it is the other way round. Someone flanks a main character. Flank means the left or right side of some central theme: animal, army etc. Here, the reason for this story is Kabila, not Malanji. Kabila is at the centre. Therefore, you can’t say “Malanji flanked by Kabila”.

In fact, you can’t even use the word “flank” successfully in this scenario. The author should have used “walking side by side with” or some other fancy literary concoctions.

  8. Just what are we doing hosting that power hungry son of a b…tch who continues to cling to power way after the expiry of his term. Oh perhaps he wants us to help him destabilize his country after he is booted out.. Let him visit victims of his government now crowding refugee camps.

  9. Is Zambia a christian nation? I always wonder wht these politicians declares, they will send us to hell. Be care Zambians.
