The levels of Zambians accepting mediocre leadership is scary ……..why should we be thankful to lungu for doing his job ?
Ladies and gentlemen, the cleanless of Lusaka came with the out break of cholera that claimed so many lives. Now great or shallow thinkers, tell me, how many such incidences should come forth before we take action? Do we think using all the tools that God gave us in addition to those we acquired in school? Are we not capable of planning and predicting accurately the outcomes in the future? If we cant do this, no wonder we are where we are. Politicking about cleanliness of Lusaka when it was so obvious this was inevitable before the cholera outbreak.
Any effort to keep dirty Lusaka and Zambia is commendable; Sata gave directive and people went to the streets; a directive by Lungu on radio and TV would have been enough than wasting finances for such a meeting; Lungu could have just gone on the street with some few people to clean up like Mangufuli did; KK used to speak from plot 1 and we obeyed his word;
