Kitwe United salute Chabula’s debut Chipolopolo call-up

Kitwe United coach Stephen Mwansa has hailed the inclusion of Chingalika striker Emmanuel Chabula in the Chipolopolo squad that is participating at the COSAFA Cup in South Africa.

Chabula is part of the 20-member Zambia Team that has arrived in South Africa for the COSAFA Cup.

In an interview in Kitwe, Mwansa said Chabula has the potential to excel at the National Team.

“I am happy Kitwe United has just come in the Super League and we are already contributing a player to the National Team,” Mwansa said.

“He can play in the national team. He is a good and disciplined player. Chabula he is got speed and can keep the ball,” he noted.

Chabula has scored two goals for Kitwe this season.

Meanwhile, Zambia begins the COSAFA Cup campaign on Saturday with a quarterfinal date against Namibia at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
