The Queen’s Young Leaders Awards programme, now in its fourth and final year, celebrates the achievements of some of the most exciting young change-makers from across the Commonwealth. Guests including David Beckham OBE, Sir Lenny Henry CBE, Nicola Adams OBE, Neelam Gill, Caspar Lee, Tina Daheley, Ore Oduba and Chairman of The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, Sir John Major, joined Award winners at Buckingham Palace to congratulate them on their remarkable achievements.

Speaking at the Awards ceremony, His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, who was recently named a Commonwealth Youth Ambassador said: “In this rapidly changing world, it is heartening to meet so many inspiring young people gathered here today, who have already stepped up as leaders and improved the lives of so many people across the Commonwealth. You are the hope and optimism the world needs and we will all do whatever we can to support you in it.”

David Beckham OBE said: “I’m so proud to be here with the Queen’s Young Leaders tonight. It’s really inspiring to meet these hardworking young people, who continue to dedicate their time and energy to helping other people live a better life. Hearing their stories and the sacrifices they’ve made is a real honour and I feel very privileged to celebrate with them today.”

Gift Chansa?, 26, said: “It’s such a great opportunity and honour to receive an Award from Her Majesty The Queen.?I never imagined myself being here, I just wanted to start a place where people can develop their creativity in Zambia and it has brought me here. 1. Congratulations girl! “The Queen didn’t know that she was giving a present to a young thief,” UPND Spokesboy, HaJayJay.

  2. I cant see anything WORTH these Zambian zombies have done to deserve ka so called Gift. Nothing positive can come out of ka sweet sixteen bemba girl whose mind is full of dirty things. Please mr queen can u say what gift u gave in zambia we declare all gifts like ECL did ka nkandla in SWAZILAND

  3. Gift Chansa and Sela Kasepa please don’t do nursing in the UK.You do a BSc in Nursing Degree bcoz you will be wiping old people’s as$ses and putting napkins on them. What’s the difference with boys who (wipe) wash cars or nurses who wipe “Queen Elizabeth’s” as$ in the UK? Exposure to pee and poo is dangerous as the hot swampy poop gas cutting off oxygen to the body leads to a potentially lethal condition known as hypoxia. Old people’s poop turns into jenkem (heh) which result in gastrointestinal infection and brain damage.Inhaling massive quantities of poo poo as it turns out into jenkem vaporizer, and all you’re inhaling is fart. And to think we’re all feeling bad for the nurses (human centipede) when they were really having the high of their lives by inhaling poo gas also known as farts…
