WEEKEND SCORECARD: Chambeshi-Harrison Chisala is the future of Nkana

Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi says midfielder Harrison Chisala’s 2018/2019 CAF Champions League performances have shown his international potential.

Chisala was a fringe player in Zambia’s 2017 U20 AFCON winning team but has bloomed over the last two seasons as a member of Nkana’s first team.
He has so far scored one Champions League goal in the 2-1 away win over UD Songo of Mozambique in the first round on November 28 in Beira.

And on Saturday, Chisala put on an electric 90 minute show in Nkana’s 2-1 home win in a pre-group stage first leg match against Simba SC of Tanzania in Kitwe.

“He was superb, very good player, very entertaining player and that’s the future of Nkana,” Chambeshi said.

“After graduating from the Zambia Under-20, he has shown that he can play at any level.”
